Meet Jared Stockwell | Senior Clinical Pharmacist and owner of The Pharmacist Brand

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jared Stockwell and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jared, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
The idea for The Pharmacist Brand was born from my experience as a pharmacist, working in the ICU, where I see the power and necessity of conventional medicine every day. But I also recognize that many people are seeking more information about natural remedies, supplements, and holistic health options. I noticed that healthcare providers don’t always have the time or training to dive into those aspects with patients, and that’s where I wanted to step in.
I wanted to create a platform where people could get educated, not just about conventional medicine but also about natural alternatives that have evidence supporting their effectiveness. I think both approaches—Western medicine and natural health—can coexist and be used together to create a comprehensive wellness plan.
Growing up in a family that valued natural remedies, I’ve always had an appreciation for them, but as a pharmacist, I also understand the importance of having a solid medical foundation. This gives me a unique position to offer informed advice, bridging the gap between these two worlds. The goal of my business is to provide high-quality, trustworthy wellness products that people can feel confident using, with my medical experience backing them up. That trust is important, especially when it comes to health, and I hope to be a resource for people looking for reliable, well-researched options.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
The Pharmacist Brand is all about blending modern medicine with holistic wellness to provide trustworthy, high-quality solutions. What sets us apart is the unique perspective I bring as an ICU pharmacist—someone who has seen the critical impact of health issues firsthand and understands the importance of preventative care.
One of the things I’m most proud of is the development of ‘Hero Immune Support.’ It’s the first product I created entirely from scratch, and a lot of research went into identifying the best ingredients and dosages to make it as effective as possible. The process of working with suppliers, coordinating timelines, and ensuring everything came together was challenging, but it was also incredibly rewarding. While I was in the middle of developing Hero, the marketing team for NFL legend, Tiki Barber, reached out about a potential collaboration, which was such an exciting opportunity. Tiki is now working with us on Hero Immune Support, and we even have a commercial featuring him talking about our brand and product. It’s been amazing to see Hero gain momentum and make an impact, especially with someone like Tiki Barber helping us share the message.
Building The Pharmacist Brand while working full-time as an ICU pharmacist, managing rentals, and raising three kids has been a challenge, but those challenges have fueled my determination to create and curate products that truly make a difference. While many of the products we offer have been carefully selected to reflect this mission, HERO is at the heart of what we’re about—it’s our flagship product, and we’re proud to share it.
What I’ve learned is that people want options—they want to use natural remedies and preventative care to avoid the critical health situations I see every day in the ICU. My pharmacy background and my understanding of the need for education and accessible tools have shaped everything we do here.
At the end of the day, The Pharmacist Brand isn’t just a business. It’s a way to help people live healthier lives and make informed decisions about their wellness before they reach a point of crisis. HERO Immune Support is a big part of that vision, and we’re excited to continue growing and sharing it with the world.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If someone came to visit me in Medford, Oregon, I’d want to show them all the amazing outdoor adventures this area has to offer. We’d start with the Rogue River—it’s such a centerpiece of this region. Whether it’s fishing, rafting, or even just relaxing by the water, it’s the perfect way to connect with nature. For thrill-seekers, a day of whitewater rafting on the Rogue is an absolute must.
Next, we’d head out to explore some of the incredible hiking trails nearby. Table Rock is a favorite local spot with stunning views of the valley, and it’s a great hike for all skill levels. If we’re up for something more intense, we might take a day trip to Crater Lake National Park to hike the rim and take in the breathtaking views of the deepest lake in the U.S.
Another adventure I’d love to share is dirt biking or off-roading on the trails in the area. There are some fantastic spots around Medford for hitting the dirt and experiencing the wild beauty of Southern Oregon in a more adrenaline-filled way.
We’d also spend time exploring the forests and waterfalls along the Rogue-Umpqua Scenic Byway. It’s a road trip packed with natural beauty, from peaceful riverside stops to awe-inspiring waterfalls like Toketee or Watson Falls.
If we wanted a change of pace, I’d take them to Lithia Park in Ashland for a relaxing walk through the beautiful wooded trails. It’s a peaceful spot to unwind, surrounded by streams and lush greenery.
The Rogue Valley is the ultimate playground for anyone who loves the outdoors. From rivers and lakes to trails and forests, there’s always something to discover, and it’s a huge part of why I love living here.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First and foremost, my wife has been my unwavering support since we first met. When we began dating, I was working in construction, and she was a constant source of encouragement during that time. Her belief in me was pivotal when I decided to return to school at 26 to pursue pharmacy. Throughout this transition and every step of my career, she has been my rock, offering both emotional and practical support. Her enthusiasm for our business venture has been invaluable, and she plays a crucial role in its creative and operational aspects.
I also owe a lot to my parents, who instilled in me the core values that have shaped who I am today. They’ve especially influenced my appreciation for natural wellness and holistic health practices, which has been a driving force behind the vision for The Pharmacist Brand.
Lastly, I want to acknowledge my in-laws, who have been an incredible support throughout my journey, from college to grad school, and now with the The Pharmacist Brand. Their encouragement and strong character have always been a steady foundation for me, and I’m so grateful for their continued belief in me.
