We had the good fortune of connecting with Jasmine Lebron and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jasmine, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
“If a child can’t learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn” – Ignacio Estrada

I discovered this quote during the early stages of creating Potential Zone. It had such an impact on me when I first saw it because it simplifies our approach. Potential Zone offers customized services to individuals diagnosed with disabilities. With years of experience under my belt, I can confidently say every learner is unique. That’s what makes Potential Zone so amazing! We make it our mission to adjust to our client’s needs to help all learners reach their highest potential. But Ignacio Estrada already said that… in far fewer words!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Two things set Potential Zone apart: our diverse services and the amazing communities we serve. PZ offers yoga sessions, art classes, core subject tutoring, guided community outings, and ACT/SAT prep. A lot right? I know!

Our mission is to help individuals reach their highest potential through creative outlets and holistic learning. We serve the intellectual, developmental, and/or learning disabilities communities. With our supportive and inclusive approach, I have seen our clients thrive! The best part about my job is witnessing the progress I helped achieve. Nothing makes me happier than seeing families and clients glow with newfound confidence.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
First things first, I would take my friend to Taco Huicho for some delicious tamales! Afterward, I’d show my friend around Downtown Phoenix and Roosevelt Row. There are amazing murals and fun breweries to check out there. Then, we will make our way up South Mountain to see the beautiful view of the sun setting on Phoenix.

The next day we will drive over to Canyon Lake for a quick hike then an afternoon in the warm sun next to the lake. A long day at the lake calls for some pizza and wings from My Slice of the Pie Pizzeria.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
As a first-time small business owner, I have never felt alone on this nerve-racking journey. I want to give the BIGGEST shoutout to the Granberrys for their endless support. I would not have begun this journey with my mentor and friend, Jen! So the biggest thank you from the bottom of my heart, I appreciate every single one of you.

Special Shoutout to my Mom and Dad:

Mamacita and Chi Chi, it is your love and support that guides me through this life. Breaking boundaries and becoming a first-generation graduate would’ve been impossible without you. Thank you for everything!
