We had the good fortune of connecting with Jason Ramirez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jason, how do you think about risk?
I believe without risk there is no success. . All the people I look up too have taken risks in their lives that led to them getting to where they are now. The biggest risk I have taken in my car thus far is to open a fashion Instagram account. I have realized it was a great decision and have done and met a lot of amazing people worldwide because of that decision. I have grown as a person and have become more social because I put myself out there. I believe failure doesn’t exist instead I think of it as lessons to improve yourself for next time.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Well to sum it all up I am an aspiring fashion influencer. It’s pretty common to hear people my age say they want to do social media as a full time job and I think that’s great because it gives us more freedom to do what we love and would rather be doing than a typical 9-5 job. I am most proud of hitting my first milestone of hitting 1,000 followers. I saw it as something that would take me a while to achieve but I ended up getting these numbers faster than I expected. I got to where I am now because of dedication and discipline to my craft. I had to balance other things in my life previously so it was a little hard finding time to shoot content however nothing is impossible and thanks to some discipline I was able to overcome that. If there’s anything I want the world to get out of this, it would be this. To do what you want to in this life. We’re only getting older and right now is the perfect time to do whatever you’ve been thinking about. My biggest regret is not starting sooner because I would tell myself “well if I got this far in this short amount of time, where would I have been if I started earlier?” I don’t want others to commit that mistake as I did, and want to motivate them to reach for their dreams because life is too precious to not do the things you would enjoy.


Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to shoutout my best friend Jay Cooper @ImGreentigerJay. He has been there since my fashion blogger dream was just a thought. He’s been with me through the ups and downs of my career and has shown me loyalty, and motivates and inspires me to keep going.
