We had the good fortune of connecting with Jesus Llamas Jr. and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jesus, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
A dream of starting my own business came to me when I was fighting for primary custody of my daughter back in 2018. Throughout the days of travel and in between court dates it always weighed heavily on my mind how I wanted to create something that could affect change, something that could still possibly exist even after I am gone. The goal is to be different, not just sell clothes, fitness, and run events to make money but to find ways to affect the people and families we interact with. That is why our clothes preach never giving up, our fitness is centered around leadership and guidance, and our events are ran with the purpose, to bring the community together for a great cause. Above all when interacting with people and businesses we do our best to make them feel apart of what we are doing, not only create a lasting impression but creating family and friends.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Though I am still early in my career and what I want the true vision of S.I.N to be, I believe I came farther then where I was. Some of the earlier challenges I faced were based around the fact that nobody really knew who I was. I always kept to myself and never really outsourced or tried to make connections with anybody I came across with. It wasn’t until I realized that I needed to be outspoken and willing to connect, that everything started to come into place. Through networking and putting myself out there I began to build the business I wanted, and people started trusting in the process.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Living in a small town, all the best things are outdoors. Things on the agenda would be going to the top of Mt. Graham to check out Riggs Lake and checking out the trails. Other things would be going to Bonita or Eagle Creek to check out the view and maybe try to catch some catfish. The bowling alley here in Safford has the best burger baskets on a Wednesday and when it comes to wings R&R pizza makes some of the best teriyaki and honey mustard.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
When it comes to crediting my success so far, I give it all to my family, my parents, brothers, sisters and even my daughter. I believe without their support the thought process to create my own business would have never crossed my mind. They have always pushed to be my #1 supporters, never hesitated to offer help whenever they could. I knew if my family believed I could make anybody believe.
