We had the good fortune of connecting with Jewels Carol and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jewels, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I was in San Diego at the time. Honestly I had no thought process on this until I was actually doing my purpose. I honestly had no idea that I would have my own business doing Mediumship, Psychic readings and Energy work. I saw spirits at a really young age but I was in the show biz world dancing professionally, on different dance tours as a Jazz and Hip hop dancer. I had also taken Reiki and became a Reiki Master but used it mostly for myself. Then one day I had a thought to go take a Psychic Tarot class that I saw advertised. That was when my life totally changed. My teacher who I later worked with told me in the beginning to practice on anyone that I could. I just thought this would be for fun but little did I know that people were going to be referred to me from others that I practiced on. I started working at parties, doing readings in a New Age store and going to clients to do readings. I was pretty much thrown into this work and I went with it. I eventually moved to Sedona and started working in different metaphysical stores doing Psychic readings, mediumship and Reiki. Then I was also getting my own clientele and that is when it just happened I moved into having my own business Jewels of Sedona. I have always been really busy with clients so it has not been a huge effort for me to be busy, I still mostly get referrals which I’m grateful for.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Jewels of Sedona was born from lived experience, deep spiritual devotion, and a genuine calling to help others heal, remember who they are, and step into their most aligned lives.
What sets my work apart is that it is not just intuitive—it is embodied. Every session, ritual, and offering I provide comes from years of personal healing, spiritual study, and hands-on practice. I don’t just talk about transformation; I’ve walked it. I know what it feels like to release old patterns, reclaim personal power, and consciously choose a new path—and that lived wisdom flows directly into my work with clients.
I am a Psychic Medium, intuitive tarot reader, and Energy healer who works with multiple modalities including Egyptian Sekhem healing energy, Reiki, light language, and deep energetic clearing. Rather than offering one-size-fits-all sessions, I intuitively tailor each experience to the individual in front of me. No two sessions are ever the same, because no two souls are the same.

What I am most proud of is the safe, grounded, and loving space I create. Clients often tell me they feel truly seen, heard, and supported—sometimes for the first time. My work is not about fear, dependency, or ego. It is about empowerment, clarity, and helping people reconnect to their own inner wisdom and strength.

I am especially passionate about releasing energetic blocks—old cords, emotional imprints, ancestral patterns, and beliefs that no longer serve. Whether through readings, energy work, or rituals like my Bay Leaf Release & Manifestation Healing, my focus is always on clearing first so that true abundance, peace, and alignment can flow in naturally.

Business-wise, I built Jewels of Sedona organically and authentically. I didn’t follow trends or force myself into a mold. My practice grew through word-of-mouth, trust, and real results. I allowed my business to evolve as I evolved, staying true to my values even when it felt vulnerable or uncomfortable. That integrity is something I deeply honor.

What excites me most today is continuing to expand—offering deeper healing experiences, reaching new audiences, and showing others that spiritual work can be powerful, grounded, and life-changing without losing its heart. This work isn’t just what I do; it’s who I am.

Jewels of Sedona is for those who are ready to release, realign, and rise—supported by someone who truly understands the journey.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If a friend came to visit me in Sedona, I’d tell them to slow down first. Sedona isn’t a place you rush—it’s a place you feel. I’d want them to experience a balance of nature, great food, relaxation, and a little magic.

I’d take them to Cathedral Rock, Bell Rock, and Airport Mesa for sunset, and definitely to Red Rock Crossing for something peaceful and grounding. These spots really let you connect with the land and the energy here.

For food, I’d make sure they experience Elote Café, Mariposa for an unforgettable dinner and views, Creekside, and The Hudson—especially at sunset.

We’d spend time wandering Tlaquepaque Arts Village, exploring Uptown shops and crystal stores, and just letting the days unfold naturally. I’d also encourage a spa day, a sound healing or meditation, and plenty of quiet time to really integrate the experience.

Sedona has a way of giving you exactly what you need. I’d want my friend to leave feeling lighter, inspired, and deeply connected—to the land and to themselves.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to acknowledge my life partner, Bryan White, as he has been a huge support for me since I started doing Psychic readings in 1995. I also want to acknowledge my Mentor and one of my best friends Angela Fernandez (the Spiritual Rebell) who literally changed my life when I took an Egyptian Sekhem healing certification class that took months to get. Of course all of my clients who I adore.
