We had the good fortune of connecting with Jillian M Murphy and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jillian, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor and the success of my brand is a mix of 5 things
An unwavering self belief in myself which is a muscle that is built over time
Building an incredible community both online and offline
Relationship Capital
Investing in high level mentorship
Knowing how to SELL
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
To get to where I am today it may look like it has been easy but it has been a very hard road as I had no idea how to build an online business, I was in the corporate space for 25 plus years and lost my career during the pandemic and had no idea what to do next but I also knew I had a GOD given talent for sales and so many others needed my help! After I cam to the online space and business was at an all time high I was faced with some health challenges and as a solopreneur this comes with its own set of challenges as well as being a sole provider for myself. I once again leaned into my faith and knew I would be ok! The reason I have been able to grow the business I have been able to is because I have leaned into mentors and I also lean into my skill of SALES
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my BFF was in town we would start our morning off on a walk around Papago park (this is one of my favs) followed by breakfast at AM Snooze where I would I would of course order the avocado toast. I am a kid at heart and still love the PHX ZOO, because it is most likely a hot day we would end up at Kaleidoscope after for a mint chip smoothie on the patio and do some girl talk OBVI! I love to walk around Old Towne (if it is Sat we would for sure hit up the Farmer’s Market) so we would def spend some time there and have some mocktails at Farm and Craft- I would need her to see Friendship Park and dinner at Culinary Dropout followed sunset at Hole in the Rock
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would love to give a shout out to my father, Larry Brown who has been my role model for business and where I get my business drive from. My father taught me about sales, how to build relationships and how to stay humble as you scale
