Meet John St. Rose II | Naturopathic Doctor and Registered Dietitian

We had the good fortune of connecting with John St. Rose II and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi John, what role has risk played in your life or career?
As a Christian Doctor, I don’t believe in risk, because I pray about everything and allow God to lead. I remember, just like it was yesterday. I was living in Alabama, and I was trying to make a decision of which job I should choose, it was between Tennessee, North Carolina, Louisiana, or California. God eventually showed me to choose a small country town in California away from everything. Then I was shown in a dream a lifestyle center I would eventually open in the area. When I got there I told the people of the church what I was planning to do eventually, the laugh and said, “This kind of business will not work in this town.”” However, I knew what God had showed me in the dream. They thought I was taking a huge risk, however, I knew when God is on your side success is a given. I went out looking for buildings, I Believe it might have been the third building I saw was a duplicate image of what I saw in the dream, so I knew I had chosen the right place. To make a long story short, I made almost $20,000 the first month. Due to what I did, it gave others confidence to want to do something for themselves in the community.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I believe what sets Our Practice from other Medical Practice is that we are God Centered. I believe in the physical, mental, and spiritual aspect of our patients. I believe in treating whole person. I believe that God is the unseen doctor, and I am just a vessel being used by him to help others, that is why I pray with all my patients before for we starting any session or treatment in order to get God’s guidance for that patient. I am not saying the road was easy, we have had some though cases, but I just had to trust God and the training and studying I have gotten throughout the years. I learn to never give up, because success comes with faith and perseverance. You are always going have challenges in business, but when you can overcome these Challenges you can stand like a rock.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My restaurants of Choice for my friend would be Udupi Indian Cuisine in Tempe, I love Pita Jungle Plant base menu, Thai Basil in Tempe on Rural, Vegan House in Phoenix because of their delicious coconut Ice Cream. Pizza With a Twist in Chandler, Indian pizza with vegan cheese or gluten free crust with many delicious toppings to choose from. I love to gaze at the fresh water fountain (Geyser) in Fountain Hills, Love visiting the Odyssey in Scottsdale, of course the Phoenix Suns, the Phoenix Zoo, and Botanical Gardens, I would like to give my friend a tour of the well known Naturopathic University in Tempe Sonora University and Health Sciences, and ASU in downtown Tempe.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to give recognition to my wife who is a Registered Nurse, she actually left her profession to work together with me at the clinic. Shoutout to her, Susi St. Rose.
