We had the good fortune of connecting with Johnathan Meade and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Johnathan, how do you think about risk?
Balancing risk is essential for growth; avoiding it altogether or taking excessive risks can both impede progress. Constantly shying away from risk stifles opportunities and potential rewards. It’s crucial to evaluate what you can control, mitigate risks where possible, and carefully weigh potential benefits against drawbacks. Trusting your instincts while seeking advice from trusted advisors can lead to well-informed decisions. Instead of blindly embracing unnecessary risks, focus on calculated moves that propel you forward.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
For a week-long trip, I’d start with a round of golf at a scenic course, followed by catching a Dbacks game for some sports excitement. We’d explore diverse cuisines at local restaurants, then hit the trails for hiking or biking adventures. A trip to Northern AZ would also offer breathtaking landscapes and outdoor activities!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There have been so many people who have helped me along the way. Honestly, I wouldn’t be where I am without their support. Standouts are my father, Pepperdine University, Mentors, and the professional development I experienced during my time at Charles Schwab. The book Extreme Ownership by Jocko Willink has also been incredibly impactful. There are more, but these experiences have shaped my life.
