We had the good fortune of connecting with JORDY and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi JORDY, what makes you happy? Why?
I love to help people. I’d rather do for others than others do for me. Being able to help other people reach their highest self and look deeper than the surface you see everyday. I think happiness comes from natural effort onto something you have an undying passion for. Whatever you wouldn’t be able to live without doing, do it every chance you can.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I think what sets me apart from others is I’m really not trying to be different or impress people, I’m just being myself and people love that. My charisma, energy, being an enigma is what I think gravitates people towards me. I can control a room off my energy alone, I’m just very tapped in with myself. I got here by hard work and no it wasn’t easy, no I don’t know people in the industry like that, it’s all from the ground up (with the help of a very influential friend lol). I’m still overcoming challenges everyday. Being in this pandemic it’s made me question a lot about myself. If I’m good enough, my why as to why I am doing this, friends, motives, I don’t know life’s been REALLY challenging but having the right team and strong people on your side they make you get out of your head and tell you, “LOOK AT WHAT YOU HAVE CREATED, LOOK AT THE EFFECT ITS HAD, GET OUT OF YOUR OWN HEAD AND JUST GO!” It’s taught me that I make music to let go of a lot of pain and things I’ve gone through in my whole life and on an everyday basis and that a lot of people feel what I’m saying, so I gotta do it for them. The kids like me. I want the world to know I’m for you. I am a man of the people. I want to be your strength when you feel you can’t go on anymore. I want you to listen to my music, see my content, and be able to take a deep breath and say, “everything is going to be alright.” I want to be your breath of fresh air and that motivation to keep going. But also you know every time you listen to me it’s real, it’s honest, nothing is fabricated to look cool or better than I’m doing. I’m cool cause I don’t care to be anyone else but me. I want you to feel that within yourself and gain that confidence. This is the good, the bad, the ugly and you can be your most honest true self when listening to me.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Honestly my crib, it’s a vibe, I never want to leave LMAO. But in all seriousness I would first take them to Chicago Chicken Shack, ATL Wings, lots of soul food, my girl can cook really well so once again the crib, a couple asian spots, I know a bunch man I love food and I know it’s not the healthiest but I know the spots. I don’t really drink but if you want I know the clubs to go to. Of course Old Town and Mill Ave but a guy like me I wanna drink at like the Sandbar I think its called, I went there once and it was a vibe where you can play arcade games and stuff like that in downtown Phoenix. I know a lot of cool mountain spots where we won’t be around people with really nice views. But if you want more tourist vibes you can go to A mountain, Camelback, South Mountain. Those are the most popular. Can’t really hangout too much these days unless you’re really into ICU’s. I honestly think a night with my friends and I is like prom. When we are all together it gets out of control. We try to only do that a couple times a year. I hate aquariums but I really rock with Odysea, Wonderspaces, they also got this cool butterfly museum at Odysea! Once again the kid at heart that I am I like Main Event, Jakes Unlimited, Top Golf, and a couple other spots. There’s a lot of fun things to do here.
