We had the good fortune of connecting with Joshua Noble and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Joshua, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The secret sauce behind our brand’s success? We set a seriously high bar for the tattoos we create. Its more than laying down some ink—it’s about using the best tools, constantly leveling up as artists, and showing up for clients in a way that feels real. Our approach is simple: every person who walks in is more than just a body to tattoo. We listen, we connect, and yeah, we aim to give them a piece they can brag about. They leave knowing they’ve been seen and heard. That vibe has built a solid base of loyal clients who keep coming back, sometimes for more tattoos! haha.. A mix of quality work, genuine connection, and a bit of humor, friendships form naturally. And to us, that’s the real win.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Our business is a bit of a different breed. The moment clients step in, they feel it—the vibe is unique and calming, an aesthetic that’s anything but typical for a tattoo studio. We’ve put serious thought into creating an atmosphere that clients rave about, from their first consultation to walking out with fresh ink. It’s more than just a tattoo; it’s an experience.

On top of that, I’m beyond excited about our Apprenticeship programs. We’re not just churning out tattoo artists; we’re tailoring each program to meet artists where they are and help them reach their own vision. We’ve got apprenticeships for every level, including a full three-day course on tattooing fundamentals and line work that dives deep. It’s all about sharing what we’ve learned with those who are genuinely passionate about building new careers.

We’re also dedicated to mentoring permanent makeup artists who want to dive into tattooing, helping them build a consistent and skilled practice. There’s an energy in our space that’s all about growth, creativity, and community—exactly what I’ve always wanted this business to be and its been challenging and fun.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend came to town, we’d kick off the week with a stop at the studio—gotta grab some travel ink to commemorate the trip. We’ve actually had clients from all over—France, Australia, Canada, Germany—who come solo or in groups just to get tattooed while they’re visiting. So, it’s become a bit of a ritual for out-of-towners, and I wouldn’t let my friend miss out.

Tucson’s got this buzz right now; it’s small, but it’s on the up with tons of growth and energy, especially in the arts scene. Probably check out some pop-ups where local artists, food vendors, and makers bring their best. These events are all about meeting people, eating great food, and finding something unique to take home.

Probably hit up the Mercado area, especially WestBound—it’s got this laid-back vibe with cool spots to grab a drink and good food. Downtown has its own scene, too, with spots like The Monica and new restaurants popping up all the time. If we’re feeling like a little escape, we’d head north to Catalina for some solid Italian at North or keep it classic with a stop at Kon Tiki for a t serious cocktail lineup.
For outdoor time, Tucson’s got trails with views you can’t beat, or if we’re feeling fancy, we’d chill by a floating river at a resort like Starr Pass. The cool thing about this city is that people from everywhere come through, and you’ll find yourself striking up conversations with total strangers.
Got a vibe you just can’t fake.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
If I’m giving shoutouts, I’ve got a list. First up, my tattoo mentors—Kiko, Cade, and Corey—who handed down a lifetime of skill, grit, and hard-earned wisdom. Those guys have shaped a lot of what I do. And family? They’re the backbone. My parents have been in my corner from day one, and my cousin Mario and Becky deserve a massive thanks for believing in us enough to make the early investment that got this all rolling. Paying them back in full felt like a real victory. But most of all, my wife Rachel has been my rock. She’s been there for every high and every moment I thought about throwing in the towel. There’s no way I’d be where I am without her steady support and faith. This success isn’t just mine—it’s shared with every single one of them.
