We had the good fortune of connecting with Keith Dubose and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Keith, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind the success of my business is that I never give up. I have went back to the drawing board so many times to revamp my formula. This helps me to continuously learn new techniques to build by brand and to perfect my product.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
First off I woukd like to say that it was not easy at all. Lots of anxiety and problems that I had to face and overcome. I’ve always wanted to get into the apparel printing business since I was in high school but had no idea on how to do so. I printed my first shirts when I was 13 years old from an inkjet printer and sold them at school. I studied the business for about 5 years until I was confident enough to spend the money on machines. Through all the ups and down in my beginning stages I learned to never give up. Even though I wanted to more times than I can count. Things are smooth in my business currently because of all the lessons learned along the way. So happy that I kept going because I love what I do.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well I love the entertainment that the city of Phoenix as well as the entire state has to offer. One of my favorite spots in downtown Phoenix is Little Rituals. It’s a nice speakeasy that overlooks downtown and the talking stick arena. Amazing drinks and food. I’ve been there so many times they know me by name lol. I would take a person visiting on a few hikes around Arizona. I would say my favorite places are all located in downtown Arizona. So much culture and I’ve seen it grow year by year. I consider myself an explorer so I’m always pulling out Google and searching for the best restaurants/locations in the city. Oh yea I really like to go to Coopers Hawk that’s another favorite spot.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate this shout out YouTube and Google. Although this might sound crazy to some but we are in the age of readily available information. I learned so much from these platforms and studied for years until I was ready to pull the trigger on my business. I just compiled so much information over the years about the printing business and it helped me to become an expert in my field.
