We had the good fortune of connecting with Kelsey Cozby and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kelsey, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Any small business is only as successful as the relationships that support it! I am so thankful for the friends and past clients that have supported me along the way. Hard work, commitment to doing the right thing and serving clients with integrity, and support from friends and and past clients has been the key to a successful and growing business the past 6 years.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’ve been working in the wedding world since 2016. In 2018, I launched K.laine Design Studio and have had the privilege of working with hundreds of brides and countless talented wedding planners and event professionals over the past few years.

My passion for timeless stationery, design, etiquette and all things weddings is tangible throughout my work. My number one policy is to do the right thing for my clients even if it costs me as a business owner. It’s always worth it to make sure that my brides and wedding planners I partner with are happy at the completion of each project!

I currently live in Austin, Texas but provide design services to the wedding industries in Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio and even nationwide to planners and brides in Colorado, Arizona, California and beyond.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
in Austin, Texas there are so many great spots! A few of my favorites are Joann’s on South Congress, Clark’s Oyster Bar, and the Famous Matt’s El Rancho

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’ve learned so much from so many wonderful creative connections along the way! I would not be where I am without the support of friends and wedding planners that took a chance on me in my early years of business. There are so many successful business owners in the event industry that have given me the opportunity to work on beautiful events with them, and countless others have believed in me and supported me along the way and partnering with them and their creative visions has been amazing!
