We had the good fortune of connecting with Kevin Simshauser and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kevin, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I have always had passion for leading others and a certain amount of confidence to believe that I have the skills and resources to be successful. That’s not to say I haven’t experienced numerous failures over the years, but with every bump along the road, I have maintained the vision to continuously keep growing. My family has always pushed me to bet on myself, take risks, work hard and be the best at whatever it is I decide to do. When it came to business, every position I had led me to where I am today. I have had numerous mentors and role models who have been tremendous examples in my life and showed me the endless possibilities that are out there. Today my goal is to live a life that isn’t defined by my business, but rather the business fits into my lifestyle and represents the same core values that I try to instill on my life.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Today, our business is centered around acquiring single and multi family properties, adding value to properties that will enhance the communities and neighborhoods in which we operate. Our belief is that we offer sellers of real estate flexible and creative solutions to achieve their objectives. We have experienced various real estate and economic cycles and like to believe we can offer a simplistic and hassle-free process to selling real estate. It certainly has not been easy. There have been growing pains along the way. What I am most proud about is that we have stayed consistent with our vision, our core values to operate honestly, diligent, and with the utmost care to our clients and investors. We are continuing to grow, expand, and have a clear vision to be a steward of capital and create a highly desired housing environment for our clients.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Being that I am an avid golfer, I would most certainly center the trip around playing a lot of golf. Some of my favorite courses in the valley are Phoenix Country Club, We-ko-pa, Southern Dunes, and Grayhawk. Phoenix is becoming an increasingly good foodie town. Some good Mexican food and margaritas at Los dos Molinos in Central Phoenix, breakfast at LGO in Arcadia, enjoying the patio at Ingos, and the fantastic chicken wings at JT’s would high on the list.
