We had the good fortune of connecting with Keysha Donald and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Keysha, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
We started this business to combine our two favorite things: candles and desserts! I remember always seeking out candles, body sprays, and even body wash that smelled like desserts and I was always disappointed in the choices out there, so we wanted to fill that void in the market

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Our candles speak volumes with just one glance! Our Golden Oreo Cheesecake candles look like Golde. Oreo Cheesecake, our Red Kool-aid candle looks and smells like Red Kool-aid! All of the candles that we see in local retail stores are uniform in shape, size, and scent variety but we bring a feast for the eyes AND nose, we’re pretty proud of that!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was in town, I would take them to Reid Park Zoo to see the newborn elephant, we would drive down to Tombstone to relive the days of the Wild Wild West, we would eat at Amelia’s Kitchen and get some of their delicious birria tacos, and end the week with the 4th Avenue Street Fair! That is just the tip of the iceberg because there’s so much to see and do in Tucson.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to give a shout out to my wonderful customers and vendor family! Without y’all, I would have given up long ago!
