We had the good fortune of connecting with Klaudia Barczak and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Klaudia, why did you pursue a creative career?
I decided to pursue my artistic career because it’s something I’ve loved doing since I was a child. It was my mom who taught me to create something beautiful out of nothing. Sharing my ideas online makes me feel fulfilled. I constantly want to develop my passions and I love learning new things.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I have been interested in make-up since 2015. Everything I know I learned on my own thanks to online tutorials. In the beginning, I mainly did make-up and cosplay. At school everyone thought my passion was a joke. It was only by creating on the Internet that I could really express myself. For years I was looking for my own style and training my techniques. I like to change and develop my style, which is why I often experiment with makeup. Currently, I mainly create in the drag style, and my most popular series is about drag queens inspired by popular brands. Over the years, I have learned to constantly develop my passions and pursue my goals, regardless of what people say.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love nature and being outdoors, so I would take my best friend for a long walk in my favorite park. If they were interested in art, we could go to the theater in my town. At the end we would visit my favorite cafe for some delicious tea and our favorite ice cream.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My mom has always been my greatest support. Without her, I would not have discovered such a passion for creating. She taught me all the basics and is still there when I need her help. Now I also have my beloved girlfriend who helps me with planning and creating new works. Without that support, I wouldn’t be where I am now.
