We had the good fortune of connecting with Kristin Bushong and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kristin, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
It is actually part of Healing Hearts’ mission to create a positive impact on the world by improving mental health. Psychology and mental health awareness has only recently been gaining attention and acceptance, and there is still a major focus on physical health over everything else. At Healing Hearts, we know that every thought and belief causes a physical reaction in the body and drives our actions. Studies have shown that when our mental health declines it impacts our physical health, because our body and mind are intrinsically connected. When we take care of our mind, our body follows suit and it’s easy to follow best practices to be physically healthy and live a long, happy life.

We believe that when we help one person, we help the entire world. Imagine a world where people are able to remove the mental blockers and live the life they have always wanted or dreamed. People are able to see clearly, experience happiness and fulfillment, and feel free to be themselves. There are so many great minds who are capable of amazing things — we just want to unlock that potential and our world will improve immensely one person at a time!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Healing Hearts offers Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) to heal from the past and live fully in the present to transform the future. Rapid Transformational Therapy is an innovative approach that embraces the core principles of hypnotherapy while going a bit further with psychoanalysis and other modals to discover the root cause of the issue, reframe beliefs, and reprogram the mind for effective results.

My favorite thing about offering RTT is watching the transformation. I love seeing people as they come in with anxiety, lack of confidence, depression, relationship issues, etc. and we go through a session and they gain understanding of why they’re experiencing this issue and how to change it. I see so much weight being lifted off after the session and love hearing when clients are feeling so much better weeks later. It fills me up!

Building this business has not been easy. I have been in technology engineering and product development, so offering therapy as a service has been a challenge. I have taken different coaching, hired different people, and learned many lessons. I ultimately have decided to follow my intuition, continue learning, showing up as my authentic self, and educating others. We want to make a positive impact on this world by improving mental health. The most challenging thing is marketing – I can create epic content but it’s getting it out in front of the right people. We want to educate people about the importance of mental health on our daily lives, what RTT is and how it can help, and other techniques to live a positive, fulfilling life.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I wouldn’t be where I am today without the help of Vishen Lakhiani of Mindvalley. I read his book, “Code of the Extraordinary Mind” and it completely shifted my perspective and how I looked at my reality. I believe it was the catalyst in my healing journey that started a mental and spiritual awakening. I wouldn’t think, act or live the way I do if it wasn’t for his wise words and explanations. In his book, he mentioned his company Mindvalley, and I jumped right in to experience the different healing modals. During this time, I was able to absorb, learn, and feel more than I have in such a short amount of time. This is actually where I found Rapid Transformational Therapy and it’s history from there. I appreciate how he pushes the boundaries of consciousness engineering and bio-hacking while sharing his learnings with the world. I still refer to his book, take different courses, and attend events because it has such a large impact on me. I highly recommend his book, app, courses, and events to anyone who wants to learn new mental, spiritual, or physical practices to elevate your life.
