We had the good fortune of connecting with Kristine Harris and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kristine, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
Integrity is the value that matters most to me and is the cornerstone Kore Fitness. Integrity plays a crucial role in building the Kore Fitness brand because it encompasses honesty, authenticity, and ethical behavior. It means being able to honor integrity and is invaluable in building a brand like Kore Fitness because it establishes trust, credibility, and a positive reputation. It fosters long-term relationships with customers and creates a foundation for sustainable growth and success.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I have been in the fitness industry for over 17 years as a Certified Personal Trainer and Pilates Instructor. I have always had a passion for fitness and want to help people get stronger and improve their overall health. I started Kore Fitness 3 years ago as a virtual training format due to the pandemic. Many people were not wanting to go to the gym and virtual training was a great option to meet people where they’re at ( literally and figuratively. The virtual format can be challenging, but we successfully built a subscription based workout channel and developed the Kore Kast, a popular podcast featuring information about Pilates, fitness, and wellness. We have just opened a studio within the past month and we’re excited to be able to work with our clients in person.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Tucson has so many great places to visit. My. Lemmon is a great way to escape the summer heat and spend time in nature. Another great place to visit is the University of Arizona, which features great restaurants and shops as well as a beautiful campus. The Desert Museum is a perfect place to visit to show visitors desert wildlife and vegetation.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Troy Andresen, Kore Fitness business manager and owner of Trek Forward Hiking has played a vital role in helping Kore Fitness achieve success.
