We had the good fortune of connecting with Kyle Farrar and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kyle, why did you pursue a creative career?
I never was good at school, things didn’t click for me so I didn’t see much of a future in furthering my education after high school, I dealt with being the odd one out a lot of the time as well I always was very good with instruments, singing and songwriting and always had a major love for music, so I decided to take a leap of faith and pursue music full time later landed me in the right band years later and signing our first record deal with Ghost Killer Entertainment

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’ve noticed at a younger age that just making music doesn’t get the bills paid it’s about what you do after it’s made. Marketing, promotion, building a personality that people relate to and enjoy viewing on a day to day basis, keeping everyone engaged and I think I can take pride that this band has something very important and that’s consistency, and a unique sound that differs from others.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Probably go to Salem Massachusetts, absolutely beautiful in a spooky way and it never gets old and no matter who you are you can always enjoy a trip to Salem:)

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to shoutout my family and friends and supporters for keeping my dream alive and making it more of a reality by the day, seeing our music grow everyday has been nothing but amazing, warms my heart to see so many people relating with our music and believing in our grind as musicians, WE LOVE YOU ALL
