We had the good fortune of connecting with Leslie Carbajal and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Leslie, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I’ve basically always wanted to do it. I think most people are hesitant because the fear of the unknown-I was no exception to that for many years. I’m a proud girl mom and everything I do is in hopes to show my girls that they are capable of anything they set their mind. You’re never too old or too late to start anything that your heart desires. I strive to show them everyday that nothing worth having in life is easy, but it will always be worth it. It is very important for me to show them that you absolutely have to work hard to get what you want.
What should our readers know about your business?
I am a Real Estate Advisor. It’s my job and passion to help people in their real estate journey-whatever that looks like. I am a strong believer in education and constant learning. I always try to help my clients understand this whole process. It’s easy to tell someone to sign on the dotted line, but it’s incredibly important for me to help a client understand what they are signing and why. I want clients to feel comfortable through the whole process. Real estate is a huge investment-the biggest transaction that most people face and it can be very complex, emotional and time-consuming. I am dedicated to making sure my client(s) are completely satisfied.
I get excited being able to meet new people and help them. I have a passion to help and that is partly why I started my real estate career. There is obviously so much more that comes with being a Realtor that most people don’t realize, myself included but I wouldn’t change it. It wasn’t easy in the beginning and still isn’t but I don’t give up because I love it too much.
I definitely have learned that being consistant and always communicating are key. Neither of which are difficult for me, but it’s absolutely something that is important in this business.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would definitely say my family. They have to sacrifice and invest in my business as much as I do. They are there to experience all the up’s as much as the down’s that my career brings. They supported me on my journey to start this path, encouraged me when it got tough and continue to do so, because to be honest real estate is not always smooth and easy. They are and always have been my biggest fans.
