We had the good fortune of connecting with Lisa Moore and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lisa, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
It is so important to me to be a good role model on Social Media. I focus on empowering women to be the best version of themselves by feeling confident and beautiful in thier own skin. I share my own personal experiences to help women get through their own insecurities and struggles. I speak with young women about the harms of social media, body image and not holding themselves to unrealistic expectations. I volunteer at many non profit charities that help empower women to get back on thier feet. I help my community by supporting and attending as many charity events that I can to bring awareness to thier causes.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My Buisness, Lisa Moore Beauty provides Makeup for Wedding’s, Photoshoots, TV, Sports. Celebrity, Lessons & Special Events. I provide personal styling from head to toe at Saks Fifth Avenue where I’m also the Brand Ambassador and Manager for Chanel Beauty. You can find me on 3TV, ABC15, FOX10 and 12 News teaching Beauty and Fashion trends. I’m the key Makeup Artist for the Arizona Cardinal’s Cheerleaders and the Arizona Sidewinders Cheerleaders. What sets me a part form others is the experience that I give my client’s. I love making my clients feel beautiful and special. I’m the most excited to continue building my business and supporting more women this year to be the best they can be from the inside and out. It has not always been easy. I’ve been working in the Beauty industry for over 20 years. So much has changed now that social media is heavily involved. I spent the last few years branding myself, building my online presence and my personal relationships with my clients and followers. The most important lesson that I’ve learned is to stay true to myself. To stop comparing myself to everyone else and to remove negative influences in my life. I want everyone to know that the hard times in my life helped me be a strong and independent woman. I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for the struggles . I love what I do and I hope that shows in my work.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love visiting Sedona. It’s so relaxing and beautiful I enjoy staycations at all of the local resorts in Arizona. Laying out by the pool and getting a massage is my favorite thing to do at resorts. My favorite spots to eat at are The Henry, Steak44, Postino’s, and any Italian and Mexican food restaurant. I love shopping at local family owned boutiques. My favorite spot is Mae & Marie. Such a great boutique.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My daughter’s, Ashley and Alyssa are my reason for everything that I do. I want to be the best mom and role model for them. I would also like to thank all of my friends and loyal clients who have supported me throughout the years. I wouldn’t be who I am without them.
