We had the good fortune of connecting with Liz Price and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Liz, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Hands down – our guests! We’ve been so blessed by the hundreds of women and men that spend time with us each month. We’ve grown from a single esthetician studio to a talented team of three because our clients continue to refer their friends and family. For them, we strive to provide an inviting atmosphere that’s both comfortable and clean. Every single service we offer is customized to meet each individual’s need. We are all three dedicated to continuing our education to share all of the amazing skin improving technologies and ingredients. And we work hard to make sure every person that walks into our studio feels welcome and appreciated. We get to do what we love because of our guests!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Skincare is an amazing industry to be in because it’s constantly evolving. Walk into any drugstore, department store, or even retail store – they all have so many skincare options to choose from! Shoot, you don’t even have to walk into a store – open Facebook, Instagram, Amazon, it’s literally everywhere! So how do you know what is best for your skin? And why is there such a varying degree in prices? And why is that pretty box grabbing your attention – will that work better than the not so pretty box? Where do you even start? This isn’t why I picked skincare as a profession – but it’s one reason I’m still in it! Because I think partnering with an esthetician can be really beneficial! All three of us love learning about ingredients! We’re so fascinated with and get excited about what they do, where they come from, how they work, and the effects each has on different skin types, tones, and textures. We also love to share this with guests during treatments so they understand why a particular enzyme or mask is picked. Like did you know that there are multiple types of acne? And different ingredients work better on some types than others? Or that your over the counter bar soap could be stripping your acid mantle and compromising your skin’s barrier? And what does that even mean?! Or that certain ingredients available in the US market are banned for toxicity in other countries! Yup, its true! And is also why you need an esthetician! I 100% believe this is what sets us apart – we study ingredients to help clients find the best skincare to meet their skincare goals. We’ve learned along the way that guests want the guesswork taken out of skincare. So we do the homework. We do the research. We also value honestly and want clients to understand that certain skin conditions can be managed, but not cured. Like aging – it’s inevitable, but we can help you did it gracefully. We’d rather underpromise and overdeliver than the other way around! Skin is unique to its owner so sometimes it takes a few tries to get it right, but partnering with an esthetician, can help you navigate through all things skin. We’ll be here with you every step of the way. We stand apart because our team literally loves skin!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We work our magic in Gilbert, AZ! And if I have friends in town, downtown is where we go! I love all the fun restaurants and bars with patio seating perfect for people watching! My Auntie and Uncle have the BEST Chinese food in Tempe, AZ! They’ve been serving the valley for over 30 years and their restaurant is definitely worth a visit! check them out! Little Szechuan is known for their dumplings and Kung Pao – and I’m so excited (because I’m vegan), that they have vegan options as well! Our favorite Mexican food has got to be Rio Rico, if you haven’t had their margaritas, they are awesome! If it’s a week long trip, my next favorite place in AZ is Sedona! The hiking and views are phenomenal. And who can skip the gem stores and local shops?! I’ve never been to Antelope Canyon but have seen pics – it’s definitely on the to do list! Honestly, there are so many beautiful places to see and local restaurants to feast at! Hike and eat – that’s what we’d do!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My biggest shoutout goes to my family! They are beyond supportive and have always encouraged me to pursue this passion of mine. Second shoutout – I became we when Erin and Michelle jumped into the studio with me. It’s been so fun having them to bounce ideas off of, troubleshoot, create new services, and share successes with! I don’t know what I’d do without these girls! And of course, our studio neighbors, fellow estheticians, and hair stylists! We’re so thankful to our community because they too have helped us to grow! Every referral is greatly appreciated! And we can’t forget our retail partners. These companies offer so many education opportunities for us to grow our knowledge base!
