Hi Mariah, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I was born into the beauty industry . My mother is a cosmetologist and my father a master barber. Finding my way in it came naturally .

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My artistry focus is soft glamour . Although, in the beginning I didn’t know that’s what it was . I’ve always loved adding accent to my clients natural features . I have always appreciated vintage glamour and wanted to keep it present in everyday life . I believe what sets me apart from others is my focus and dedication to my clients time . I always want them to feel like the stars they are and add small details to bring luxury to their appointments . Today I am located in the heart of Las Vegas , Downtown where all the glamour began . I’ve always loved DTLV and wanted to be there . My journey to this point wasn’t easy . I took a few pauses unsure if artistry was the best thing to do because with the freedom to create comes sacrifices in other areas . My husband & brother always give me reassurance that my gift is what our city needs and I am my best self when I do what makes myself and others glow . The main lesson I’ve learned on my path is trust yourself and your process . If you’re constantly thinking of this dream or goal , studying and practicing you’re already great just keep sharpening your tools .

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
First day DTLV ! I’m talking all day from Brunch at Eat to Mob Mueseum & Neon Boneyard for some history ! Cool lunch at container park & dinner at Barry’s . Then over to cork & thorn for. Live music and great drinks !

Day two The Las Vegas Strip of course !
Breakfast @ Hexx to watch the fountain show and then shopping at Fashion Show Mall . Lunch at Benihana & then over to Caesar’s place for pics , shopping and more food !

Day three Day Pool ! tao beach
Until we’re good and tired from the sun.
I love tao so definitely would be going back to tao for dinner and some clubbing .

Day four
Area 15!

If you haven’t been you need to go !
It’s top secret that’s all I can say !
After that into Chinatown for some YamaSushi !! And a little shopping too because you have to.

Day five

Town square mall
More shopping and eating I love the yard house .

And then back to the strip to see silk Sonic of course !

Day six

Family time
Park day at Craig ranch !

Lots of space for a good kickball game and the ice cream trucks are always close by .

Grilling & A good playlist to wind down

And on Day seven

Park mgm !
It’s close to The airport but still a good time !

I want to dedicate my shoutout to my village . My Daughters , My Devoted Husband , My Brother Tracy Deshone , My Parents , My Love Miss Ann and Last but certainly not least my mentor Brandi for seeing my light and guiding me through sin city with style , grace & tenacity . I love you all .
