We had the good fortune of connecting with Matt Schneider and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Matt, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Leadership. I learned early on that Leadership is always the problem and Leadership is always the solution. But Leadership is not a title or a rank. Its the ability to influence. There is also a massive difference between positional authority and moral authority.

Being an Entrepreneur means many things. One of the things it means is that the ultimate decision making for both issues and opportunities, stops with the Entrepreneur. That requires decision making. It requires the ability to make effective decisions for yourself, the team, the clients and stakeholders.

Many Entrepreneurs fail because they attempt to lead others before they have figured out how to effectively lead themselves. The house of cards always falls on top a company where the leadership is weak and ineffective.

So if I had to pick the most important thing that has lead to my success, its learning how to be an effective leader with moral authority.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I got to where I am today by being disciplined and recognizing that in business, its the outcomes and results that matter. Nothing else.

As the saying goes, “talk is cheap”.

We live in the greatest country in the world where opportunity and wealth can be created if we are willing to do the work and produce the outcomes it takes to achieve it. There is no shortage of opportunity or money for any one of us to obtain. But simply talking about it, half starts, mediocre efforts and lack of extreme ownership, doesn’t get the job done.

In this world, we get paid for done.

Succeeding in a major way in the areas of Health, Wealth and Relationships is not easy. We would all love it to be, but its not.

It takes a lot of hard work over a long period of time. It takes resilience, focus, execution, leadership, compassion and teamwork.

Unfortunately, in today’s world, far too many people look for the easy path… the shortcut… the quick fix… or the hack… They want the quick win and aren’t willing to put the time and energy in that real success demands.

Success favors the bold and the hard working and Opportunity favors the prepared.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I enjoy all things warm weather, health and water.

An ideal week would look like a balance of fitness related activity, Thai and Seafood for lunch and dinner, and relaxing on a boat or beautiful beach with loved ones.

I would also keep my Coaching calls because I love the value of those calls and the impact I get to have in those companies and teams.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
No real success and impact is ever accomplished alone.

I would like to shout out my wife, Christen and our son Carter. Those two have been lock and step with me since 2013 when I began my journey as an Entrepreneur. As all Entrepreneurs know, in the early days, there are plenty of weeks and months where the hours are long and the pay is poor. They never wavered in their support and continue to be my biggest cheerleaders to this day.

My Mother certainly deserves a shoutout. If it weren’t for her belief in me and her willingness to invest in my first venture, I would not be where I am today. Every Entrepreneur needs that person early on to believe in them, when they begin to lose believe in themselves. Becoming an Entrepreneur was a real challenge for the first few years and my mother never once stopped believing in my ability to “make it big”. Without her support, I likely wouldn’t have.

I would also like to shout out Bedros Keuilian. The man who has taught me what it means to think big. To be unapologetic about wanting to solve big problems for people and be compensated handsomely for it. Bedros has been the single biggest influence in my life in regards to what is possible and the type of positive impact I can have on a large scale. I have smashed through many personal and professional goals and achieved significant success, thanks to Bedros and his mentorship.
