Hi Megan, what do you attribute your success to?

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Sign & Sealed is a creative design studio founded by two Megan’s. We created a realm where creativity flourishes, craftsmanship thrives, and visions are brought to life with collaborative finesse. With every stroke of our pens and every click of our design tools, we shape not just designs, but legacies. We invite our clients to venture into our world where dreams are meticulously etched, where brands become icons, and where creativity knows no bounds. We pledge to infuse our creations with timeless elegance and that right-brain creative magic as we breath life into paper and pixels alike.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
It feels like a cheat to say but no itinerary! Walk around town on foot. Park the car and get out there. See what shop windows entice you inside, what menus look pit-stop worthy, what little knick-knack you just gotta have for yourself. Discover the small businesses, the hidden gems and local’s haunt on foot to get to know the city. Explore, wander, keep your eyes and mind open and good time, good food and good people will be found.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Besides my business partners, Megan Fakes, fellow Co-Founder & Creative Director, and Allyson Fakes, our Managing Partner & Solutions Strategist – Sign & Sealed would not be here without the three of us working in tandem as we grow and evolve the business into our own making. (Truly find some great partners to lean on, push and support you. That’s the secret sauce to success!)

As we look outward, I think Sign & Sealed can highlight one of our first clients, The Factory Events, located in Cincinnati, Ohio, and owned by Sarah Thomas. Sarah was one of our first branding clients. We could not have asked for a better experience working with a fellow woman-founded business and one that had a beautiful vision for renovating a historic building into a premier event venue. It was a dream come true. Ideal client and ideal project. Chef’s kiss. We designed the brand identity, created signage and other touch-points for the venue. (We even fell in love with the space so much that Megan Fakes had her very own wedding there!)

Sarah has been a great client and mentor. She leads her business as an ally for all. She has supported our business with referrals, networking event invites, and more work! She is as an example for Sign & Sealed, not only on how to launch, own, and run a business with kindness and integrity but also on how to generate a network of people with whom you can all support one-another.
