We had the good fortune of connecting with Monique Reyes and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Monique, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I pursued an artistic/creative career because I love the energy that comes from being around other artists.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Arizona Royalty is a multicultural upscale salon located in north Phoenix and is locally owned. We specialize in curly hair, but we are accustomed to cutting, coloring, braiding and extensions. We are most proud of becoming one of the official beauty brands for Phoenix Fashion Week! It was hard work and dedication that made it possible for us to open. It was not easy. Prayer is how we overcame the challenges we were faced with. One lesson we learned along the way is how to be patient. What I want the world to know about my brand is that we are from the people and for the people!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
