Meet Morgyn Sanders | Social Media Influencer/Founder

We had the good fortune of connecting with Morgyn Sanders and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Morgyn, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I truly built my name for myself from the ground up. In 2017 I started my blog known today as Boss Up Girls. I stayed persistent with it and never gave up. In 2021 I started taking my TikTok platform seriously in 2021 working with brands I have dreamed of working with. Now I am a current YouTuber that also posts 1/2 times a week all about college/lifestyle content. If you were to ask me what the most important factor behind my success is I would say my persistence. I never let anyones opinions around me define me. I became unstoppable. I never turned my back when someone judged. I am so thankful I never stopped persisting because the success of my brand has increased tremendously. I am so honored to work with brands like Princess Polly, CaliRay, Dibs Beauty, and so many other amazing companies.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
From the moment I started my social media career I hit the ground running. I knew that it would take hard work and this path is not meant for everyone. Being a full time college student managing my personal life and my career is hard, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. I feel like my firey personality and passion for social media makes me stand out. I love to work hard and I am so thankful for the path I am on. I am most proud of the content I create. I always put 110% into everything I do. I am also proud of the amazing companies I have looked up to such as Princess Polly, Cali Ray, Dibs Beauty and so much more. Being a social media influencer is hard work and getting where I am today has caused a lot of blood, sweat and tears. I went through struggles of people judging me, people saying influencing is not a real job and saying no to certain jobs. I think there is a lot of stigma behind social media influencers. No one knows how hard it is unless you’re in the position. Learning how to balance my personal life with a vlog camera in one hand and managing friendships, relationships and college in the other. If I could tell the world one thing about me and my brand is that I am here to make a difference. I always as a young girl had so many questions and I started my blog as a women empowerment movement. I wanted to be the voice for others and talk about things that no one else wanted to say. I want this to be the sign for pursuing business owners or social media influencers this is your shot to do amazing things. We’re all here for a reason lets fix each others crowns!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Girls weekend? Count me in! I am taking my girls to brunch at Teaspoons for the best French Toast ever! Then we’re hitting the shops at La Encantada and doing a little grocery shopping at Aj’s. For dinner we’re heading to Postino for some wine and board. For my Mexican food junkies, Blanco Tacos is amazing as well. In the mood for some dessert? We’re going to Frost in the La Encantada mall. All these places are the most fun and have the best vibe. If you love thrifting, we’re walking around 4th Ave. If you want a party crowed, definitely try Dirtbags for drinks and Gentle Bens for a great college scene.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There is no doubt that I am so thankful throughout the process my parents have inspired me and pushed me so much to succeed. Ever since I was a little girl, my mom always persisted that I was here to do amazing things in this world. My parents were the ones that have encouraged every step of my social media way. In fact, they were the ones who bought my first vlog camera. I am so thankful for my parents and there support through not only my social media career, but every step of my life.
