We had the good fortune of connecting with Natasha Bercant and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Natasha, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my business, was in fact of investing in myself. This includes waking up everyday and loving what I do with my time. Furthermore, owning my own business gave me the opportunity to be more “free and flexible” with my work hours, the services that I provide and most importantly, I get to enjoy my family more. I also decided to start my business to help and support customers, as they pursue their self care, personal and cosmetic needs.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I provide teeth whitening services, teeth gem placement and removal, needless lip fillers, and ombré powder brow services. During and after I provide a service to a client, I become very excited and intrigued by their reactions. Client’s tend to express their happiness with the service; this makes me feel very much proud. Moreover, my professionalism, dedication, motivational and listening skills are traits that set me apart from others.

Furthermore, I push myself so that my current circumstances can change for the better; by living up to my full potential in all aspects of life. I have learned that running a business is a little harder than it appears to some; especially when you are conducting a business independently, with a family to care for. My goal is to get to a point where I am financially stable enough to provide for my love one’s overall (eliminating living paycheck to paycheck). As far as overcoming challenges, I learned how important it is to research and to continue learning. There is always new opportunities, trends and changes within the industry I am passionate about. Therefore, I plan to invest in my brand more, by participating in more beauty and PMU trainings. This includes, eventually selling my own teeth whitening kits and providing teeth whitening and teeth gem training etc.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would definitely visit areas such as Scottsdale, Chandler and downtown Phoenix. All areas have a variety of attractions/site-seeing options. For brunch, I’ll definitely recommend going to “Sugar Jam”, “Breakfast Bitch”, “Hash Kitchen” “The Vig” and “Culinary Dropout”. Since I am more of a relaxed person, booking a spa day at “Spa Botanica”would be ideal. Also, I would even consider driving to Las Vegas for a day or two; where the entertainment is endless as well.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to diverse women, who are entrepreneurs in the industry I am currently seeking and developing my brand in. There are many women that I follow on social media for guidance and motivation; these particular women encourages me, as well as remind me that I can also take my business to the level that I desire. This includes owning my own storefront and selling my own products in the future etc. Strangers that became customers/supporters also deserves a shoutout. Social media (instagram, facebook, TikTok) and google has also helped play a part in my business growth thus far.
