We had the good fortune of connecting with Patricia Plum and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Patricia, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
I was raised in Arizona, where my family and the church instilled in me the values of generosity and giving. Despite this positive upbringing, I made some negative choices that led to my incarceration at the age of 19. This experience significantly altered the course of my life.
After serving my time, I dedicated myself to helping others who have faced similar challenges. Today, I run a therapy practice focused on helping people process their trauma. Additionally, I co-founded a non-profit organization that supports women exiting prison, helping them stay out of the system and discover their true selves.
My faith, the generous spirit imparted by my family, and the strength I gained from overcoming my trials have all been fundamental in shaping who I am today. These experiences have laid a solid foundation for my current work, allowing me to give back to the community and support those in need.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What sets me apart is my deep belief in the power of healing from the traumas we have created for ourselves and those that have been inflicted upon us. This belief is the foundation of my journey and my work. I am most proud and excited about the transformations I have witnessed, both in my own life and in the lives of others who have embraced this path. Our motto, “a safe place to heal,” embodies this philosophy, and it is the core of everything we do.
Getting to where I am today in my business was not easy. It was a journey filled with challenges and setbacks. Overcoming these obstacles required resilience, perseverance, and a strong support system. My family, friends, and coworkers were instrumental in helping me navigate these difficulties, providing unwavering support and encouragement.
One of the key lessons I have learned along the way is the importance of creating a supportive environment for healing. Internal work is crucial, but sometimes, making changes in our surroundings can significantly impact our well-being and growth. I want the world to know that everyone has the potential to be and feel amazing. By addressing our internal struggles and making necessary changes in our lives, we can create a beautiful and fulfilling existence.
My brand and story are rooted in the belief that healing is the first step towards becoming the best version of ourselves. I am committed to providing a safe space for this transformation and to helping others realize their potential for greatness.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to my amazing husband and kids, who have supported me in all my endeavors and encouraged even the wildest of ideas. I also want to give credit and recognition to my family, who stood by me through my struggles and believe in the work I am doing today. This journey would not have been possible without my friends and coworkers, who poured countless hours into building the practice and co-founding the nonprofit with me. Above all, I believe that with God, all things are possible.
