We had the good fortune of connecting with Penny Lambert and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Penny, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I love being able to help people. I have found that there is nothing more important than “my home, my sanctuary”. The most rewarding gift I can give people is the opportunity to find and purchase their “dream home, their sanctuary “. First and foremost, I really care about my clients. I listen, help them to overcome any obstacles that may be standing in their way, and then we start the search. I walk them through every step of the way, both personally and professionally. There is no task that is too large or too small for me to find a solution to. Understanding my clients’ motivations and lifestyle, deepening relationships, and contract negotiation are my strengths. “After my many years of life’s experiences and continual growth I have learned to anticipate issues, execute every process in a timely and accurate manner, and the importance of being compassionate. Buying, selling, relocating, downsizing, moving, financial and family decisions … It’s a stressful, sensitive process. I find I always need to walk in my client’s shoes.”
I am a fierce advocate for my clients, ensuring they are well informed and well represented every step of the way. I value my clients’ opinions, concerns, and needs above all else. “Work can sometimes be stressful and demanding, but helping people navigate some of their most important life events never gets old nor does it feel like work.”

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I started my Real Estate Career on Maui for 6 years. I lived in a small town called Kula, it is on the Haleakala Volcano. My speciality is and always has been in Luxury Properties, but I am not opposed to working with all clients. I was a Multi-million Dollar Agent for 5 years and then moved into getting my Broker’s license the last year that I was there.

I moved to Arizona and started off with Keller Williams Realty Sonoran Living in Scottsdale, on April 1, 2020. Within days of obtaining my license, the world began to shut down because of “Covid”, I knew I could not let that stop me. In light of the heaviness of the circumstances due to Covid, I was able to persevere . As always people’s lives continue to change, that is inevitable, I will be there to help them make those changes. I am proud to say that in my first full year I sold over $8.2 Million. My goal for 2022, is to at least double that and I am well on my way to achieving it. I was honored to be invited to join the Agent Leadership Committee at our office. I was the chairwoman of the Safety and Wellness Committee.

On September 28th, 2022, I made the decision to move my license and business to Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty.  We currently have 13 offices across the state of Arizona.  I decided to make my home office in Gilbert, Az.

I am very proud and honored to be so welcomed into this next step of my Real Estate adventure.

You may be asking why I made this move now?  I felt it was time to take my Real Estate career up to the next level.  My passion is to give my clients the highest level of service, integrity, and professionalism I can. I feel that Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty’s Represents everything that I believe in. The company’s mission is to provide its clients with the most responsive personalized service attainable – nothing less will do. This is who I am, and this is what I want from the company that I work with. They also implement the idea that collaboration and networking are fostered to create a synergy that puts the whole company to work for every client. It is a win-win for everyone involved.

I am very dedicated to the progression of my business and loyalty to my clients. have a deep respect for design, decor and the architecture. With an extensive back ground in High End Luxury Store Manager for over 20 years and Luxury “Home Manager” for over 15 years. I managed homes in Kula, Aspen, La Jolla and even Crawford Colorado. You have not heard of Crawford Colorado? It is the tiny town that Joe Cocker made famous because of his English Tutor home that he loved so much. I had my own catering business called “Mountain Thyme Catering” in Aspen. I did catering for many of Joe’s parties and several other celebrities throughout my years of living in Aspen. Hint Hint…. If you see one of my Open Houses, be sure to stop in. I almost always have something freshly baked.

My “love language” is “Acts of Service” and helping people is in my DNA and I will always go above and making this transition as stress free as possible. I go above and beyond during your time of transition. I do not discriminate regardless of income or purchase price. Helping people is what I love to do!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We have so many wonderful places to go to and to see in our beautiful “Valley of the Sun”, I don’t even know where to start. I first moved to Arizona in the early 70’s and Scottsdale was always my home base, so let’s start there. We need to start with a wholesome breakfast at my favorite where they have the original build your own Bloody Mary Bar and my favorite the Mimosa Flight. The Mimosa Flight is the daily selection of 4 mimosa’s, no better way to start your day.

My friend that is visiting is a shopper like I am. My favorite shopping areas are consignment stores. My Sister’s Closet is the best for women’s clothing, hand down. I love the one up in North Scottsdale on the corner of Pima and Pinnacle Peak. We of course have to hit the My Sister’s Attic while we are there. They have great finds for the home there. Another Home Consignment store I love is Airpark Consignment in Scottsdale Air Park. They have great furniture, household good and art. The ladies that work there are fabulous and I love the attention I get when I go in.

After a full day of shopping, we are going to go home and take a nice cool swim in my backyard pool. Now it is time to get ready for a night out on the town. My favorite restaurant is Cooper’s Hawk in North Scottsdale. I am a member of their wine club, so I love to treat my friends and clients to a wine tasting and then a fabulous dinner with bottomless bottles of wine. (complements of me of course) I think the next place to go is Old Scottsdale for checking out the nightlife. I love walking up and down the stores and popping into more than 100 of the city’s best restaurants, craft cocktail bars, swanky lounges and high-energy nightclubs. You’ll even find a high-tech bowling alley and chic pool parties where the locals go to see and be seen. It’s all in Old Town Scottsdale – every night of the week!

I hope you have enjoyed my day out with my friend that came to visit me and to have a full fun packed day! Now you have some ideas of where you can take your friends who come to visit you!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My Daughter, Brooke, is my biggest fan and my best support in my life. She inspires me to be the best version of myself, every day. She has taught me that even when life throws curveballs at you, no matter how big or small they may be, keep smiling and remain positive. Life can be a very difficult thing at times. It is imperative to remember even the littlest of things are important. The biggest of all things in life are to love, laugh, forgive and to carry hope, peace and happiness in your heart always!
