Meet Petra Krebbs | Business Consultant & Strengths Strategist ™

We had the good fortune of connecting with Petra Krebbs and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Petra, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind any success is the people. Motivational Speaker, Jim Rohn has said “You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.” We are influenced by the people we spend time with, but also the people we serve. My journey has been shaped by the people I have met along the way. In my personal and professional journey I have learned to spend intentional time with other people who seek to become the best version of themselves. I look for others who choose hope, who find a way forward and who believe in keeping a positive mindset. Together we inspire and challenge each other. I would not be who I am today without those very important relationships in my life. As a business and brand I believe my value is in my service. I am constantly thinking about the people I serve. As a speaker, consultant and coach it is a privilege to walk alongside others in their journey. Whether I am entrusted to share an inspirational message with an organization, roll up my sleeves to work with leaders and teams or sit with individuals as a confidant and guide, I am inspired by people.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am a business consultant, speaker and coach. I hold a degree in education and still operate from a teacher’s heart. My career is a full-circle moment. I shifted from teacher to corporate trainer and eventually to a whole new career as an entrepreneur. When my kids were young I was traveling too much. I took the leap of faith to begin a career in Direct Sales and lead an incredible team of over 250 entrepreneurs for over a decade.
This is where I learned the real lessons. I learned more about people, leadership and team building than any degree or certificate I hold today. It is also where I discovered the work of best-selling author Jon Gordon. I used his work as some of my guiding principles as an entrepreneur. I adapted his work to my business and wrote trainings for his books for my team. When I went back to a corporate career, I found myself teaching much of what I had learned.
But I also discovered something else that intrigued me to learn more. I took the Gallup Strengths Finder assessment as part of my application process and it was a life-changing discovery for me. I had taken many other self-assessments before, but this one was different. I began to study the work behind it and learned a deeper approach to knowing myself and others. When I came to a crossroad in that career, I started to listen. I listened to my core group of people, sought out advisors and did some research. I took another leap of faith and my journey came full-circle.
I get to share the work that helped change my personal and professional life in the hopes of helping others. I am part of a select team to speak and train on behalf of best-selling author Jon Gordon and I have helped hundreds of people discover their unique talents and ignite their strengths as a certified Gallup Strengths Coach.
My passion is to shine a positive light and help people reach their full potential. I believe that every person and every organization is a unique gift to this world and our differences are truly our advantages. With my vast experience in sales leadership and entrepreneurship, I have collected numerous resources and experiences so others can overcome hurdles and reach real tangible goals.
Vision: Help others live engaged, equipped and elevated lives.
Mission: To shine a positive light and ignite people to win with their strengths.
I love to explore the areas of self-development, leadership effectiveness, team dynamics, conflict resolutions, gap analysis and team performance with my clients. I would never ask any of them to do work that I have not done. My own personal experience and successful results drive the passion behind my work.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
What a fun question and I want to ask you right back. I am new to the city and I am still exploring and learning so much, but here are a few of my favorite finds: Old Town Scottsdale Farmers Market, The Mercantile Co. for fun local goods, the spa at the Boulders for some beautiful Southwest scenery and pool day, Luci’s at the Orchard for coffee or a relaxing lunch, any and every vintage shop in the valley, I love treasure hunting (Hopefully @sweetsalvage is having an event) cocktails at the Valley Ho hotel and if they are staying for a week, we are definitely spending some time in Sedona, it is my favorite weekend escape.
