Meet Qadeer Muhammad | Tattoo Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Qadeer Muhammad and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Qadeer, do you have some perspective or insight you can share with us on the question of when someone should give up versus when they should keep going?
Well to qoute the late and great Nipsey Hussle “I just didn’t quit, thats the only difference between me and the next person going through or is going to go through this, I just didn’t quit.”
I agree with that statement and believe success is a byproduct of stubbornness with your goals.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I think with any artist, our personality traits are reflected in our work. I am a minimalist, less is more to me, there is power in simplicity… Bold and a bit flashy, I appreciate luxury. that would kind of tell you about my tattoo art.
For the last 3 years I have been dedicating a large majority (if not all) of my time to tattooing, the unbroken focus on my career had allowed me to hyper excel my growth.
A lesson I am learning though is to take a step back and really reflect do some enjoying.
I see this commonly amongst strong goal driven people is that we get stuck in the accomplishing mode and forget to enjoy the life we have built for ourselves.
There isn’t much I can say about what I want everyone to know, I feel like my work does most (if not all) of the expressing for me. I am very big “let the work speak for itself.” Person.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Honestly I am the worst person for a scenario like that *laughs neevously* I don’t go out much.
However I do enjoy regular drives to Sedona, I’ve only been there 3 times and the longest I stayed was 3 days.
But Sedona is a place where you can just go and find things to do and it will be a grand time so thats what I can suggest.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
For sure my good friend and mentor Dakar Little. He’s been a massive influence and guide to the progress that I have seen in my business and my personal life!
One of the Hardest (if not the hardest) working man I have met.
