Hi Rebecca, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
Our commitment to operating a Gluten-Free and Nut-Free kitchen, with additional focus on allergies such as dairy, eggs, and soy, holds significant importance for the community on multiple levels. The provision of a safe haven for individuals with food allergies, intolerances, or specific medical dietary restrictions is paramount. In recognizing the challenges faced by those navigating such dietary limitations, we have dedicated ourselves to creating an establishment that instills confidence and peace of mind.

As a family personally impacted by Celiac disease and various food allergies, our mission is to establish an environment where patrons can confidently enjoy their meals without apprehension. Our vision extends to providing a secure space where even children can indulge in their desired birthday cakes, free from concerns about adverse reactions or health complications. Through our specialized kitchen, we aspire to contribute to the overall well-being of the community by ensuring a safe and inclusive dining experience for individuals with diverse dietary needs.

Welcome to Bite Me Kupcakez – where every bite is a celebration of inclusion! Located in Merrimack, NH, our dedicated gluten-free and nut-free bakery and cafe started from the heart of our home in 2011. In 2017, our dream blossomed into a storefront adorned in charming pink hues.

At Bite Me Kupcakez, we go beyond being a bakery; we are a haven for diverse dietary needs. From gluten-free and nut-free to dairy-free, soy-free, and vegan options, we ensure that everyone can indulge in our delights. If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Unfortunately there isn’t much in Merrimack NH. We are small, we do have a great outlet mall as well and some beautiful trails! But all over NH there’s tons of things to do. I haven’t gotten to do much since I’m a bit of a workaholic!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Oh goodness, that’s tough! Being part of a community makes it tough! We associate with other small businesses in town; especially ones that are in some sort the same field, Not bakery wise but for example; wedding wise. Tru Tran and Hardy Le who own Karma Nails in Merrimack NH who do lots of bridal parties they have extremely talented artist who do amazing work as well as being extremely safe and sanitary! They refer people to us and we do the same for them! Another is Deanna Davidson who owns Boundless Beauty here in Merrimack! We’ve worked with her and her brides to cut there cost by all of us sometimes working together!
