Meet Samantha Encarnacion | Massage Therapist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Samantha Encarnacion and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Samantha, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
We wanted to provide a service that is not catered to by the current industry standard for bodywork. Instead of staying in the lane of one modality and overall style, we choose to blend all the modalities in our wheelhouse to create a personalized experience. The only way to truly achieve this, was to begin our own practice and create our own rules.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What most sets us apart from others is that we have chosen to combine all of our knowledge into a session to create the best results for clients. We prefer to veer away from the standard Swedish massage unless a client specifically requests that modality and that one alone. We are proud of this approach. We have found it to be very successful in alleviating or easing discomfort and dysfunction in clients. We got here because, after working on individuals over a period of time we wanted to be more than temporary relief. We wanted to create solutions. We wanted clients to feel great. Not only for their time on the table and that next day but set them up for long term success with stretches and exercises to take with them as well. It took time to narrow down the best way to incorporate all modalities in a way that is fluid but well worth it for the end result. We would want the world to know that we have love and passion for what we do and pride ourselves in our attention to detail with each individual.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them to Chocolate Tree and Picazzos healthy Italian kitchen to eat because of their delicious selection. I would then take them to an event at Apotheca. I’ve only been to one so far but it was fantastic. Much heart is put behind hosted events and you can just feel it when you’re there enjoying yourself in rooms of creative minds and passionate spirits.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
We want to shout out Adventure & Vow elopement photography for capturing all the current images of our new business. Also for providing us with endless information and tips about the Sedona area.
