Meet Shadow Banshee | Palmist ~ Oddities Curator ~ Lucid Dream Instructor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Shadow Banshee and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
The age of 14 was magical as that was when I was shown my design, my purpose. It started with a dream. I was in an attic of freestanding mirrors and people came to the attic lost. I would spend time with them and help them choose the mirror they were to pass through. This dream was the most important vision in all of my life; because at that very moment, I became highly intuitive.

I come from three generations of eccentrics with intuitive abilities. So, let’s break that down in my favorite show’s (The Munsters & Addams Family) characters. My father was just like “Gomez Addams”. while his mother (my grandmother) was Grandmama Addams. My mother was similar to Lilly Munster and her husband looked EXACTLY like Grandpa Munster. My brother was Pugsley Addams and no I am not Wednesday Addams…but Herman Munster. I can get very quirky (especially when there is a lack of sleep involved).

While it was a challenge most of my life to find a way to be socially acceptable, I gained much in powerful intuitive energy by being within myself. As a matter of fact, at 50 years old I still struggle with “fitting in”. The difference is, however, I am confident in who I am these days. I know where I am strong and this is what helps guide me in my journey to be my very best.

This is also how I do Palmistry. Our hands are a map of who we are and what we are made of. I read about my clients’ strengths as well as areas that need assistance and most of all, what they were designed to do. I have ALWAYS and will ALWAYS see the beauty in people…people are fascinating. Palmistry is the perfect approach to human connection and the human experience.

My passion for being resourceful doesn’t stop with Palmistry. Currently I run a Lucid Dream workshop mainly because I NEVER knew this was something we all didn’t do until I was in class one day and realized I was the ONLY one with my hand up when asked if I can control my dreams. The best part about this, I can show ANYONE how to do this as we all harness the possibility. I taught myself because of night terrors. I am actually looking into offering a mini workshop to kids who suffer (like I did) so they too can battle those monsters.

And the oddities, well, that’s my weird sciency side poking it’s wee lil curious head.

All of this keeps me quite busy, if anything just by observation and ideas brewing. Everything that I am now, everything that I do now, is because I see a need in us and utilize what I was given to make my dreams a reality.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I absolutely LOVE Mount Lemmon. You can play in the snow on top of Mount Lemmon and visit Summerhaven, the cutest lil town nearby. As a person from the Midwest, it’s perfect to get away to a familiar territory and the heat.
