Meet Shane Bradford | Window Cleaner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Shane Bradford and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shane, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I’ve always wanted to have my own business. But I didn’t know what business I really wanted. I started working in construction and for about 5 years I was learning everything I could. However with construction I always knew that far in the future it would eventually take a toll on my body and so then I started wondering if there was something else for me. From that point I started working in different places, restaurants, retail stores, call centers etc. One of my friends owns a window cleaning business and I was intrigued to see what all was involved. Thanks to him he showed me the ins and outs of running a window cleaning business and even hired me on so I can get the reps in. After that I bought my own equipment, made some door hangers and started door knocking as well. Turns out I love cleaning windows. And there’s something special about making a homes windows go from dirty and dusty, to crystal clear!

What should our readers know about your business?
Shane’s Stellar Window Cleaning is a window cleaning service providing streak free, sparkling windows. Windows you practically don’t even know are there. What sets us apart is our friendliness and desire to provide the best customer service experience ever. We try keep informed with not just window cleaning, but also knowing where to get your windows replaced or repaired, making good recommendations for those who may need those services. I’m most proud of the strong friendships built with our clients. It’s our goal not just to be a window cleaner, but a friend! It hasn’t been easy growing our company. It’s been a lot of door knocking, cold calling, canvassing and more. As they say, we put a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into building this business. One of the biggest lessons we have learned to deal with, is the rejection. There are already quite a few individuals with dedicated window cleaners. It’s not like us to steal business in any way, so we do our best to reach those who do not have a window cleaner servicing their home. We want everyone to feel welcomed when we visit their home, we encourage all to be a part of our family!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Tucson is a fantastic area to come visit! Cafe a la carte for breakfast and Flyings Vs for dinner! There’s so many restaurants to try for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! I’d definitely put on the places to visit Reid Park Zoo and the Desert Museum! My favorite places to visit in Tucson for sure. Another great place I’d take them is El Rústico and Taqueria. I’d have to write out paragraphs for a week long itinerary haha. So I’ll leave it to just this.
