Hi Shawnte, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
This business was created specifically with the hopes of making the entrepreneurial process easier. Ive spent many hours learning and studying on how to elevate my business and along the way Ive learned that alot of things that many business owners struggle with are things that are easily achievable without spending any money.

What should our readers know about your business?
My company is Shawnte Hernton Business Consulting, LLC. It was started to help women with business development and business structuring. I get most excited about discussing the many benefits and advantages that are available to business owners once you begin to invest in yourself and structure your business.

This consulting business started as a result of me looking to expand and elevate my current fashion styling business. I learned about the importance of structuring my business, how to increasing my visibility, trademarks, marketing, partnership, collaborations, etc and with the excitement that I had, I knew that I wanted to share how easy it would be to achieve many things that I have seen and heard new business owners struggle with.

My brand and story is a reflection of who I am. I started my first business as a fun hobby and have just focused on how to continuously grow, elevate and educate along the way. As I am learning, I am sharing with my audience, I love to help simplify processes and help alleviate the stresses that may come with starting and running a business.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love to enjoy the outdoors and hang out most on the weekends. Saturday I would start with hiking on A mountain, then cool down with walking at Tempe Town Lake. After a little rest in between I would end with then lunch at Zipps on Mill. Sunday would start with breakfast at Snooze, relax and nap then happy hour somewhere for tacos.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
This Shoutout is for anyone who is in support of me and my entrepreneurial journey. I started as a wardrobe stylist and have added business consulting to my resume. I appreciate anyone who sees the value in what I have to say and contribute.
