We had the good fortune of connecting with Taylor Rodriguez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Taylor, how does your business help the community?
With the technological age we live in, business owners and society in general have become more distracted and scattered brained than ever before due to the influx of information. My goal has become to simplify an owner’s business methods as well as their approach to growing in this competitive marketplace.

Before a piece of creative work is ever started, we begin each process with a problem solving session where we identify a business’s key problems (lead gen, sales, brand awareness, etc) so we can properly understand what that respective business needs (and it might not be a new logo or website!)

Our company philosophy is to solve problems for our community, not pad our wallets. We believe if we lead with a caring heart first, our Lord will provide the rest.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
For the past 14 years, it’s become my passion to not only create beautiful art but to help business owners solve the huge underlying problem that is stalling their potential growth. Any designer could potentially create a beautiful logo or brand identity, far less can honestly solve a company’s problem.

After getting laid off due to the 2008 recession, I was without work for almost 2 years. During that time, faced with the challenge of seeing money going out but not enough coming in, I started freelancing. This is when I started learning about entrepreneurship and how to run a profitable business.

It was more than just being an expert on a particular piece of software. I started to ask myself, in case of another recession, how could I make myself extremely valuable to other businesses, ultimately so I could protect my family?! This is when I started diving into the world of marketing and what the fundamentals are of a successful business.

I’ve been extremely blessed to be able to be coached and work alongside some of the greatest minds in the world today as well as help dozens of businesses throughout the years grow and become more widely known in their respective communities. My goal is to continue along this path of helping businesses until I get the opportunity to serve on a project inside of the gaming or animation industry.

God bless!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Being near the tourist capital of the world, Orlando, I would immediately say to visit a major theme park – Universal Studios or one of the Disney parks. If you’re looking to walk around and site see, be sure to visit the Orlando Eye complex which has the Ferris wheel overlooking Orlando and an aquarium and wax museum.

For the best pizza ever, visit Giordanos or visit the Hourglass Brewery in Longwood, FL for some amazing craft beers and arcade games.
