We had the good fortune of connecting with Timothy Boudreaux and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Timothy, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I believe the most important factor behind the success of our brand is the uniqueness of our products. We utilize ingredients from Arizona, New Mexico, Mexico, and South America. We’re also gluten free, msg free and lower sodium than most spice rubs which allows us to reach a vast market.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
We are a veteran/family-owned business with small batch handcrafted high-quality gluten free rubs and BBQ Sauce representing the flavors of the Sonoran Desert of Arizona. I had the opportunity to work for one of the PBS specials “Great Chefs of the West” with Chef Werner Albrecht at MGM Studios in Culver City California. I worked my way up the career ladder for companies such as The Marina City Club, The Arizona Biltmore, The Wrigley Mansion, and The Phoenician Resort. For ten years I owned my own catering business “New Creations Catering ” and I was the Corporate Executive Chef for Sodexo at BlueCross BlueShield of Arizona. The goal of our company is to take our experience and introduce you to the incredible flavors of the American Southwest and Latin America, with our gluten free spice rubs.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

I would take them on a trip to Sedona and The Grand Canyon to truly experience Arizona. When we returned, we would have brunch at Christopher’s at the Wrigley Mansion.

Some of the restaurants we would visit in Phoenix are The Barrio Cafe, Pizzeria Bianco, Crujiente Tacos, Beckett’s Table and Fogo De Chao.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Much of the success of our business goes to my wife. She has been an encouragement the entire time while building our business. She has dedicated herself to helping in the entire process. Everything we do is handcrafted, so we make, fill, and seal everything by hand. She works the farmers markets and has built a great clientele at her markets. In the midst of this she has continued to be a mother, wife etc…She deserves a lot of credit for what she does.
