We had the good fortune of connecting with Tina Marie and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tina Marie, what principle do you value most?
Having a strong sense of a community. Coming together under one common goal of understanding the importance of collaboration and sharing resources. It’s how any group of people become stronger and bette. It’s the unified force that helps to develop better communities, better sisterhood’s, better brotherhoods, and better families.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My organization provides a place for middle aged women to grow and to be supported in the second half of their lives. Seeing the women happy about starting over because of the resources the the organization provides is a great sense of accomplishment. That makes me excited!
I have built my business by remaining consistent even during the lows, the losses and the failures. It’s not always easy but the challenges are a part of the evolution. They make you stronger, smarter and wiser.
The biggest lessons that I’ve learned is that building a business is about embracing each new level with an open mind and understanding that some levels require silence and no movement. It takes courage to embrace each level because each level test your faith. Remaining faithful during the process is what matters.
I have been blessed to recognize what it is that I have been called furthermore I have been brave enough to walk in it…
I want my brand to be known as a safe place for women. I want my brand to be recognized as an organization that advocates for the growth and development of middle aged women. Ultimately, I want Tina Marie the Bridge Builder to be a beckon of light for all women.
I am really proud of the work that I do! As a visionary the opportunity to create never stops! My newest venture currently, is highlighting women in business by interviewing them and giving them a platform to tell their story.
The most exciting part about being a visionary is that there are always new developments to my organization and to my story. I am always curious about what will be revealed to me next!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I am so mellow when it comes to outings… I live in the Arcadia area and I would definitely take my best friend on a walk throughout my neighborhood. Arcadia is so interesting with the coolest places to explore, from iconic coffee shops to the most organic and unique houses. We would definitely go to Hillstone for dinner, to me, Hillstone is an Arcadia staple and a must go to for dinner. The food and service is always good!; the ambiance, the artwork, the fountain inside the dining room, the koi pond and the patio are so aesthetically pleasing. It’s always a home-run! .
For an experience that requires a cocktails only, there would be three places, 38 Below for a unique cocktail experience,
Flint on camelback if we want to put a pinky up and the Elks on 7th Avenue if we want a laid back Cheers vibe.
We would also drive up to the top of south mountain to take in the scenery of the city and the surrounding mountains ,
it is the best place to go for serenity and peace.
The most exciting thing I would want my friend to experience is the drive up to Sedona or Flagstaff
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My organization also has a membership platform and it is comprised of the most amazing women. They truly are the definition of sisterhood. It’s where I receive unwavering support, encouragement, friendship and love. They are the driving force behind my organization. I am extremely grateful for them all.
My family is my forever WHY, My desire is to break the generational curses of having lack of wealth and legacy to leave behind after I am gone is what pushes me to keep going on even the most daunting days.
