We had the good fortune of connecting with Tracy Roberts and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tracy, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
Through Yoga, Reiki and Group Meditation, I have been able to inspire others to see who they are and connect with their own paths. One of the thingsI am very proud of this community in our second studio. It’s very eclectic in terms of age, backgrounds, diversity. There are a lot of creatives and that leads to an interesting experience of energy. The mission is to inspire and encourage those who are in search of a deeper, more fulfilling purposeful life through meditation, pranayama, asana, chanting, restorative deep & mind body. Inward turning, mantra, sound and mindfulness yogic healing.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?

Our Yoga Studio Trace  Zen Yoga and Kava Bar. Meraki Az Kava. Bar . It  all started so small and is still growing. The people who come to the center stay and have become like a community of family who are connecting with so much more in their lives through something as simple as Breath-work, Sound healing, Guided Meditation, Reiki and Yoga and now we’ve added a Kava Community.. As an entrepreneur, a leader and a woman, the way I see work as a spiritual practice have been really powerful ~ in the way that I believe it’s important to have deep moral values and have integrity with what you are connected to. Obstacles still come and go but when you believe in something so much because it’s changed your life. You can’t make it up and the obvious choice is to follow your heart. Believe in it with your whole being and it will believe in you. I’m not just a yoga teacher or A Reiki practitioner, I’m a mother, a sister, a friend, and a divine creator.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If I had a friend in town visiting of course we would have to have them at our studio for a Sound Bath and a little Kava and Mocktails with a buzz after at The Meraki AZ Kava bar next door.We love a drive up to Sedona for a beautiful hike and meditation on Cathedral Rock and great vegan food on our way home at the Loving Hut back in Phoenix. Desert Botanical Gardens or the Odessy Aquarium is definitely in the list as well as a morning hike on camelback mountain to watch the sunrise. Coffee and Breakfast and The Luxe is also one of my most favorite places in downtown Phoenix and if anyone is up to it they make the best fresh squeezed mimosas. After we go down to Rosevelt Row and enjoy the beautiful art work all over the downtown area. Depending on the weather last but not least we LOVE to reserve a cabana at anyone of our incredible spots in AZ and chill by the pool and relax !

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?

First there would be nothing with out Greg. He is my hero. It’s exciting in any business to have something to celebrate, but it’s even greater to enjoy it with your significant other. He’s made every step worth never giving up. And always my team Siobhan Wasson and Eve Juarbe without their relentless support and belief in our work we would not be where we are today.  Ruby Alvarez and Jesus Rios for their love and friendship.
