Meet Truck Da Comedian | Artist/Comedian

We had the good fortune of connecting with Truck Da Comedian and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Truck, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
Home is always going to be Baltimore City but in my life I’ve lived in 8 states Baltimore, Wyoming, Colorado, Maine, California, Tennessee and Currently Arizona (Mostly college football related) I say I’m from a lot of places because all the experiences I’ve had have made me who I am today. All the struggles and wins and losses both big and small molded and continue to mold me into a strong minded man of character. Comedy has always been a tool I use in any situation. Admittedly even when I probably shouldn’t. But I was raised on positivity and humor so throughout the toughest moments in my life Ive always had a mindset that not only helped me push through it. But helped me help others push through it. I always say “Laughing is my second favorite thing to do, Right after making people laugh” which is why i started doing Stand-Up Comedy. A few years later that transitioned into making people feel better about life and especially about themselves and that is how I got into Music my favorite song I ever made is called “Biggest Fan” its all about self confidence and celebrating yourself! Ive got the entirety of the song lyrics tattooed on my arm. And its not just because I like the song but because it make’s anybody listening feel the self confidence I fought for so long to get

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My passion for entertainment started with stand up comedy. I’ve always been able to rap but I never saw myself as a rapper. I saw all the sound cloud rappers promoting unlistenable music and I never wanted to be like them. So I kept running from music until I met a producer by the name of DB! and made both of our first song (So Raven) from there I was hooked! I started trying to mix comedy and rap and the first couple attempts as sad as they were showed me I could do it. Now Ive gotten to a point where my goofy songs hit just as hard as any serious song and my serious songs hit just as hard. The true artistry of hip-hop and Lyricism was lost to my generation and Im one of the few out that are trying to bring it back. Im very confident in my abilities as an artist but I still work to get better and progress on the daily. I refuse to be content with what I’ve done and continue to stay hungry for what is to come. That is what sets me apart from others

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
As a fat boy they most important thing is food! Places like Captain Chuck’s Seafood, Ace Of Wings, Matts Big Breakfast, Calizona Tacos, Breakfast B*tch, Sugar Jam, and Culinary Dropout are some of my favorites.
As far as hanging out I tend to stay in the house alot but when I do step out its Westgate or Mill Ave never Scottsdale cause me and my friends don’t meet their “requirements”
And people they have to Meet are Moscato over at the Moscato Room Studio that dude is hilarious and its always a good time.
Comedian Loca Lola she is a nut you can’t have a single conversation with her without laughing!
Also Loud and Sativa and the 411 show over at RTU they are some of the most genuine guys ive had the pleasure of meeting in AZ

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First and foremost I have to thank God for the endless blessings he has given me!
Secondly I have to thank Hood Booty University for their continued love and support. Without my team I wouldn’t be where I am now in the music space. HBU won’t have to worry about anything when I get to the top! They will be right there with me!!!
And 3rd I have to thank DB!, Luke Leath and Backwood Biddy. My brothers in not just the music game but in life that have aided me in taking my passion for music to the next level. And above all, staying solid🙏🏽
