Meet Veianya Hansen | Energy & Sound Healer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Veianya Hansen and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Veianya, we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?
Not just outsiders, I was naive about it as well. But how much time overall is spent on technology. Some people think that all I do is meditate and perform Reiki sessions. But I spend a lot of time online between answering emails, posting on social media, updating my website, and so on.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My work is based on metaphysics and spirituality. I offer energy healing, sound healing, angel healing, and meditation sessions. I do sound baths. I teach classes and workshops such as chakra balancing, candle making, women’s circles, tarot, and many more. And I also sell homemade spell candles, bottles, kits, and other products at fairs and festivals.
What sets me apart is that I’ve never stopped learning. I am always taking a course on something. And thanks to both my education and experience, I’ve been able to hone my own version of energy healing that people say makes them “feel lighter”.
Right now I’m excited about teaming up with a local intuitive tattoo artist. And together we’re offering an intuitive tattoo with Reiki experience. It’s quite powerful and I’m honored to be a part of it.
Getting to where I am hasn’t really been what I’d consider either easy or difficult. It’s just been an adventure. I originally started as an Etsy shop and my business has changed and morphed into its own thing from there, I’m still relatively new on the scene and I’m sure that I still have much to learn.
What I’ve learned is patience. It takes time to learn how to run a successful business and grow.
I’d like my brand to be known for the love and care that I put into every session, class, or product.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Some of my favorite spots in the city are The Herpetological Society, Pub Rock Live, Taste My City restaurant, the Grand Ave Arts District, 00Drag, and Dust Devil Park.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’ve spoken a lot about how a Louise L. Hay book is what got me into this line of work.
But I’d like to recognize my sister for all she does to support me and my business.
Whether it’s encouraging me, motivating me, providing feedback, helping me with my accounting, or even just babysitting my puppy while I’m doing sessions. She’s always there and available as a support for me.
