We had the good fortune of connecting with Victor Rendon and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
We started Space Launch in May of 2022. We service the Phoenix Valley with home staging and furniture installations. Our services include: Home staging, staging consultations, Airbnb design, furniture assembly and installations, artwork, tv, and drapery mounting. We work with short term rental companies, designers, investors, and the residential communities. Our purpose is to launch your space however you need.

Our first several months were pretty busy for a new company. From June till December we had work pretty consistently. We performed two full home stages, worked on 25+ properties, build numerous contacts and partnerships. Then the holidays came and we had very minimal work for the next several months. We are starting to pick up again and I think there are a couple of reasons.

Our perspective is that for property management companies November through April/May is high season. Large amounts of incoming guests with higher demands. Growth isn’t a large priority during high season. While people are still moving from one residence to another, they may not being buying new furniture as much to be assembled. Designers may not be doing as many projects due to investors holding while the economy hits very turbulent times. These are all subject to our market. There may be other aspects of this that are not mentioned, this is just what we have seen.

This is difficult to weather as a new business. We have to learn how to mitigate these last few months during next years high season. While we have been slow, I have reached out to everyone we are aware of and provided more context of what we are capable of doing. I have visited over 75 apartment complexes in the Valley handing out flyers for new move in residents. We have tried to be in the public eye as much as possible. We feel that there is still growth during this time and we are working hard to continue the efforts where they are needed to keep ourselves in our audiences eye.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We enjoy the Hale Theatre in Gilbert, Arizona. They have several musicals that are performed throughout the year and it is a great show. With the theatre being located in downtown Gilbert, there are several shops and eateries that can be visited and it is all great food. We also recommend Fashion Square mall and surrounding locations in Scottsdale. This is a large attraction and within close proximity you will find Old Town Scottsdale, which is also filled with small eateries and attractions. The Valley has several urban lakes that are great for fishing or walking around. We would recommend the nightlife in downtown Phoenix as well. There are a ton of attractions and views that are provided to the public.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are a couple of people that deserve a shoutout.

My wife, Amanda. She works fearlessly at getting life for our family in order. She works very diligently to make sure we are financially successful with our resources. She works very hard and making sure we have a food supply and that is important to me. She works day in and day out to make sure our kids are taken care of. She is a rockstar companion when it comes to supporting my ambitions. Amanda, thank you.

My kids, I love you. Kendall you are brilliant and so imaginative. You create many opportunities for me to grow as a dad and I hope you continue to help me learn in my life. Raleigh, you are a great example of youth. You provide opportunities for Kendall to have a play mate and friend. And to the one on the way, we are excited to see you soon.
