We had the good fortune of connecting with Victoria Lovvorn and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Victoria, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
I have been a hairstylist for 6 years and have always had a passion for the beauty industry. I recently decided that I wanted to elevate my guest experience and my career by working and building my own brand.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I believe that the guest experience makes or breaks the services I provide. I have extensive training on on trend techniques and styles for my clients so I blend my knowledge and attentiveness to suite my clients wants and needs. My journey as a color specialist has definitely been a rollercoaster, as I’m sure most beauty professionals can relate. However, I have have been learning to lean into services I enjoy offering and bettering myself in areas that can better serve my clients.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would definitely have to take my best friend to downtown Mesa! There are so many places; old and new that are so fun and entertaining! I personally love Worths Takeaway, every October they do a Bobs Burger themed pop up and it is so cool! I would also have to check out Gotham Comics, its a classic and there is truly something for everyone to check out!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would love to highlight my mom. She is the one that inspired me to go to Cosmetology school and is the one who has always been in my corner. She has had her own esthetics business, The Petite Beauty Suite, for the past 5 years and has truly shown me what a successful business owner is and can be.
