We had the good fortune of connecting with Victoria Renee Hand and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Victoria Renee, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
As a recording artist, I have the opportunity to use my voice to speak my truth. When those truths resonate with other people both lyrically, and with literal resonance… you know you have something special. Music can heal, lift spirits, inspire, and bring people together. It warms my heart to read all the comments from people from all over the world who have come together after hearing A Better Tomorrow play on CNN’s “Call To Earth” promo. In addition, a percentage of the proceeds goes from A Better Tomorrow goes to ST. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love those hidden entrance speakeasy’s that LA has to offer, it’s so trendy and fun. I don’t go often but it’s always fun to see peoples faces when the jewelry store we are in has a hidden entrance with a passcode. Or you walk into a hidden world through a vintage coke machine. Rooftop lounges by the beach are a great way to relax and catch up with your company. I also love a good hike. Griffith is my favorite spot because it’s a perfect distance, beautiful, and parking is abundant.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I am so grateful for my loving and supportive family who encouraged and helped guide me along my journey. My mother for traveling with me doing shows as a child. My husband for his love and wisdom. And my mother-in-law, Edie, for pre-paving the way for A Better Tomorrow, along with some new opportunities to come into existence.
