Meet Vincenzo Riccardi | Chef/Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Vincenzo Riccardi and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Vincenzo, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
To start finally working for myself. Using my time as valuable as possible.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Being a chef was always very Important to me because you are not only responsible for the food but for bringing everyone together to create a timeless memory. I traveled to multiple states and cooked under some really known chefs and that has helped me continue my journey of being a successful chef and business owner. What sets me apart from the crowd is my constant work ethic and originality. I’ve learned that if you put your mind and talent to it anything is possible. And the harder you work the luckier you get.
Scalinos is a fresh and original pizza business bringing nothing but the finest ingredients and New York style pizza to the valley. The goal is to open a brick and mortar restaurant and compete to be the best pizza and Italian food in Arizona.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Deffinelty would have to go to old Town scottsdale and support the multiple restaurants and bars
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
All my credit would have to go to my family and friends as well as my culinary school Lecordonbleu
