Meet Zemorah Yisrael | Visual Artist & Owner of Aleph Beith Artistry

We had the good fortune of connecting with Zemorah Yisrael and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Zemorah, how does your business help the community?
Spirituality is a major aspect of the human experience, but I don’t believe that we (as a whole) put enough attention into this area within our daily lives. Everything has a dual nature and spirituality has a lot more to do with the mind than we think. This is one of the big reasons why the first item that we began selling within my business was affirmation boards . What we tell ourselves everyday is important: the big things and the small things. Oftentimes we overlook the moments where we may playfully call ourselves “dumb” or “stupid” after a poor decision. On the other end, there are also times where we fail to recognize our praiseworthy accomplishments. These negative experiences accumulate as the days go by. So our creations are designed to alchemize that negative energy, transforming it into positive and uplifting motivation for your spiritual journey. Having artwork in your room painted with the phrases, “You are beautiful”, “I Am Divine”, or “My Success is Inevitable” makes a huge difference. These words paired with bold, beautiful colors literally create a more encouraging atmosphere in your home or office space. This energetic movement created with intention through art is Aleph Beith Artistry. We aid the world by pinpointing areas where the collective may need some spiritual guidance, and creating the tools to help.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
One of the most memorable paintings I’ve created so far has to be my “Self Discovery” painting. This painting is a depiction of a journey that starts off tough and rocky, but eventually becomes more joyous and peaceful. At the focal point of this painting is a bright portal, leading to a more beautiful life. I can’t say that my overall journey as an artist has been similar to the experience depicted in this painting but I do know that “Self Discovery” portrays a difficult path that many people experience spiritually, including myself. Before Aleph Beith Artistry was born I had to understand how to truly listen to my body and soul. If this meant that I would be taking more risks and making the crowd in my immediate circle uncomfortable, I was okay with doing so. I wouldn’t have been able to reach the level of success that I have now if I tried to please everyone along the way. I’ve learned that it’s important to be decisive and take the lead in your own life. Honing these skills were challenging, like the scenery in my painting, but over time I became more confident and life became a lot easier.
Overall, there have been many ups and downs throughout my journey but creating art makes life so much more meaningful and beautiful. Creations like my “Self Discovery” painting is one of the main ways that I connect with my diverse community. These pieces are easy to decipher amongst people of various backgrounds and even amongst those who don’t speak the same language. I love knowing that as I dive deeper into myself and my soul, the reflections of that process will appear in my artwork. I am very proud of the fact that others receive healing from my authenticity and I am very excited to see how my art will bring people together in the future.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my bestie were visiting me at the Grand Canyon where I currently reside, I would definitely tell her to bring her hiking boots! One of my favorite hikes is along the Bright Angel Trail. During the day, this area is so beautiful and if we’re lucky, we’ll likely spot a few bighorn sheep and goats. After our hike we’d go eat at Yavapai Tavern because I love their vegan tacos and they serve a good variety of comfort foods. Once we’re done eating we can check out some of the gift shops. My favorites are the Bright Angel gift shop, Lookout Studio, and of course, Hopi House. To end the day we would catch the sunset at the South Kaibab trailhead. As the sun fades into the ancient layers of the Canyon and we make our way to our rooms for resting, we’d catch a nice glimpse of the clear night sky above us, amazed by how many constellations we see. After all, we are a Dark Sky Park.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have two shoutouts to share.
First, one of the main reasons that I am successful today is because I apply the concepts I learned from reading “The Secret” by Rhonda Byrne. This book changed my life for the better. If you haven’t read it yet and are looking for ways to improve your life, I suggest buying this book as soon as possible! “The Secret” focuses on the many aspects of life: money, relationships, happiness, etc., and the book is basically a guideline on how to enhance these various areas. For me specifically, “The Secret” has helped me to meet many like-minded people. A big aspect of Aleph Beith Artistry is community. After utilizing “The Secret” I was able visualize a community for my brand and over time, this community did indeed manifest.
Secondly, I would like to give a big shoutout to Lord Shu, my business mentor. Shu has aided me tremendously in improving my business and the fact that he is also an artist is very beneficial. Since he has lots of experience in the field that I am in, he is able to give great advice that aligns with my vision. Because of Shu, I have a clear vision of Aleph Beith Artistry’s direction and we have expanded in ways that I couldn’t have imagined.
