Meet Zoe Schroeder

We had the good fortune of connecting with Zoe Schroeder and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Zoe, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
Zoë Schroeder Nutrition helps women break free from the exhausting cycle of dieting and finally feel confident in their bodies. We provide evidence-based nutrition coaching that prioritizes long-term sustainability over short-term fixes, something that’s sorely lacking in the health and wellness space.
By helping women understand how to fuel their bodies without restriction, guilt, or shame, we’re not just supporting physical transformation, we’re changing how people relate to food, their health, and themselves. That ripple effect shows up in their families, their workplaces, and their communities. When women feel confident, energized, and in control of their nutrition, they show up differently in every aspect of life. That’s the kind of impact I care most about creating.

What should our readers know about your business?
Zoë Schroeder Nutrition is an online nutrition coaching business rooted in science, sustainability, and real-life application. I help women achieve fat loss without cutting out the foods they love, obsessing over numbers, or falling back into the all-or-nothing mindset that so many of us have learned from years of dieting.
What sets my business apart is the combination of deep expertise, I’m a Registered Dietitian and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, with a coaching style that’s rooted in compassion, education, and strategy. My clients don’t just get a plan, they learn why it works and how to make it last.
Getting here wasn’t easy. When I first started, I was coaching clients before and after my full-time job, creating content at night, and trying to figure out how to turn my passion into something that actually paid the bills. I launched multiple offers that flopped, dealt with imposter syndrome, and went through tough personal seasons, but I never lost sight of the mission. I kept showing up, refining, and trusting that if I led with service, the rest would follow.
Now, nearly five years later, I have a growing team of dietitians, we work with clients all across the country, and I’ve recently expanded to accept insurance to make this kind of support more accessible. I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built, but even more proud of the lives we’ve helped change.
What I want people to know about me and my brand is this: you don’t need more restriction, shame, or “rules.” You need a plan that works for you, support from someone who gets it, and the right tools to stay consistent. That’s what we’re here to deliver.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend came to visit, we’d definitely make the most of the Arizona sunshine. We’d start the trip with a bike ride along the canal from my house down to one of the local farmers markets, nothing fancy, just good coffee, fresh air, and some quality catch-up time. I love combining movement with connection, so we’d also do a morning hike up Camelback or Pinnacle Peak for those desert views (and a solid glute pump) then brunch at a fun spot in Old Town after!
When it comes to food, I’m all about balance and admittedly love a bougie dinner out, so we’d hit some of my favorite spots around Scottsdale, like Cala or Toca Madera. We’d sprinkle in some laid-back lunches, tacos for sure, and definitely leave room for dessert, gelato at Frost is a must. We’d explore the arts district, hang out by the pool, maybe sneak in a spa day, and just slow down a little.
Whether we’re hiking, relaxing, or eating something amazing, the vibe would be fun, grounding, and a little luxurious, just how I like to live. It’s the perfect blend of movement, good food, and good company.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There’s absolutely no way I’d be where I am today without the support, guidance, and encouragement of so many people along the way.
First and foremost, I’m incredibly grateful for the business coaches (Tony Stephan and Lauren Sharpe) and mentors who helped me take the first scary steps into entrepreneurship. Their insight gave me structure, confidence, and a much-needed push when I doubted myself early on. I didn’t go to school to be a business owner, I had to learn that part as I went, and their guidance was a game-changer.
Also, I’ve leaned heavily on personal development books (Atomic Habits, The Power of One More, The Compound Effect, and The 6 Habits of Growth, are some of my favorites) and podcasts (The Ed Mylett Show and The Mindset Mentor, for example) to grow my mindset and stay grounded through the ups and downs of running a business. From boundaries and burnout to leadership and resilience, that inner work has played just as big a role in my success as any strategy.
No one builds something meaningful alone, and I’m endlessly grateful for the people and resources that have helped shape this journey.
