We had the good fortune of connecting with Sinserea Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sinserea, what role has risk played in your life or career?
As a serial entrepreneur, I’ve always loved being risky. I do unconventional things in my every day life because I love being a risk taker, and that’s kind of why I started my business. Being a business owner means that you really have a strong mindset because you’re in sales, selling your business/product/self to every client. I think that risk is a wonderful thing, because without risk there would not be reward. For me, this role of taking risks has played such an enourmous amount in my life and career because it’s what motivates me to keep going.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
So my LLC is called sincerely sinserea and what sets me apart from other businesses/business owners is the fact that I don’t really limit myself in my field, so I was a marketing consultant and financial representative. I’d like to speak to everybody, no matter what field there, and even in my field I love to connect with people because you can never have too many people in your contact list.. you never know who you can refer to somebody or who somebody can refer to you as a client so I like to keep my contact list very well diversified. I think what I’m most proud about is the fact that I am growing and learning so much information a lot quicker than people who have started their businesses before me just because I’m so open to growing and learning. How I got here today is again by being tenacious and having drive. Ambition is some thing that you learn to develop overtime it’s not something you just wake up with you have to really develop a mindset. After I started attending more mentorship programs, and getting a mentor in all of these aspects of my life, I finally came to a state of mind where it was healthy enough for me to do it on my own. Anything new that you do in life is never easy, so no it was not easy. This is really tough you get rejected every single day however, I like to think that every “no”, every rejection, leads me to a much better opportunity that’s much greater than that “no” would have presented. I overcame challenges by simply moving on. The lessons that I learned on my journey so far is that you really have to do adapt to your environment but always encompass a positive mindset. What I want the world to know about my brand or story is that literally, you just have to try. anybody can make it happen, as long as they try.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I am a foodie for sure so the whole itinerary would just be based on going around in Arizona trying all of my favorite food spots. So for breakfast/brunch we would start at brunch in Sip Overal Indian in School near the Biltmore area. We may take a little intermission break and go to old town, Scottsdale to shop at fashion square. I always like to attend the Apple sessions to learn what’s new about some of the products they may have in case I want to buy something cool that they’re launching or learn about my current devices. Then we’ll go get a smoothie from Berry Divine or an açai bowl. For our late lunch will stop at Fuzzy’s Taco Shop for tempura shrimp tacos on mill ave. Then will walk around Tempe Town lake , maybe canoe in the lake or ride an electric scooter. After that will probably go see a movie at the theater near a Camelback Colonnade. Then for dinner will get all dressed up and go up to my favorite spot in North Scottsdale – Mastros Ocean Club.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Someone that I really looked up to growing up was always my mother because she was an avid student. She made the impossible possible by always asking people directly. She was never afraid to go after anything that she said her mind you including her multiple degrees and is now semi-retired at 45. I live by the psychology of money because I think the structure and message in that book teaches everybody. The economical background associated with financial aspects that affect us greatly today. I also want to thank my family because of the face of adversity. They’ve always been some one that I can call to vent, and they do it with little to no judgment. I’m always changing some thing every day and they always have listening ears on when I call.
