We had the good fortune of connecting with Jeff Iverson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jeff, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
Adventure Wedding Films originally started off as Concetta Films in 2019. Starting at the January AZ Bridal Show and booking 16 weddings. By the end of 2019 I had filmed 30 Weddings and 2020 was booking up quickly. Once covid hit find April the business plan stared to change as I had couple reach out saying they still wanted to get married on their original date even though they couldn’t have a big wedding and later they would do their venue party. So I started taking my couples on Adventurous Elopements. Plane tickets were cheap and locations were vacant of people. It was perfect.

From that point I knew I wanted to rebrand and start pushing elopements but also add that same element in the traditional weddings I film. In all my packages I include and Adventure Session, which is an extra day before or after the wedding were I take the couple out and do something meaningful to them to add to film.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Weddings and Elopements are so much more than just a day. It’s a milestone that has been crafted over decades. Regardless of how long you’ve known each other, you have spent years growing into the people you are, and now you are choosing to weave that story together with someone else.

No longer two, but one! That’s a big deal!

This is why I don’t capture the cookie-cutter mold of your wedding. Instead, I discover the wonderful story behind it and bring it to life through a Raw, Authentic, Intimate, Emotional love film that will last far beyond our lifetime.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My go to is Sedona for sure. I’m always there with my couples because it is a truly magical location or film at.
